Would you give up your SRT for a Gen I or II?

If you can only have 1 Viper, Gen3/4. If you can have both...well, you can fully appreciate the HUGE differences between both. I prefer driving around sweating in the Gen1. My wife will only ride in the Gen1 under protest. The Gen4 is a treat around the track, but way too docile for me on the street. I went backwards - this question (title of the post) is really a matter of the driver's personality. Kind of like asking guys who hunt with muzzle loaders with iron sites vs. semi-auto modern rifles with the best optics on the market. Both get the job done - huge difference in delivery.

Given the economy, buy a Gen3 & and Gen 1 (or 2 if you like glass windows) for the price of a Gen4.

I first bought a 2002 GTS, then went with a 2005 Copperhead, then went back to a 2001 ACR, then with a 2008. I almost traded my SSG for my old ACR this week(see 01SapphireBob's post) since I enjoyed the driving experience of the Gen2's so much, but the deal just didn't make sense. I thought about buying the ACR outright, but couldn't justify having 2 right now:(
