Howdy folks...After lurking here for many months I'm glad to say tonight I have joined the brother hood. Well I started looking for one of these cool cars back in Dec and after a few very close calls, here is FE#51 w/a whooping 525 miles. I really need to thank Wild Bill from Little Rock, AR for driving over 200 miles round trip, checking her out and giving her 2 thumbs up.

Pat Kelley the owner/seller who put her in his personal trailer and drove her up non-stop. Pat was NOT your typical used car salesman.

I haven't slept in 2 days and you guys really rock w/all of your helpful information. Well chalk another one up for the newbies.

Thanks SOO MUCH guys!

Congrats on your new toy! I know Wild Bill and I'm sure he was happy to have an excuse to get out of town for a while. Careful with that new beast, it's not even broken in yet. :2tu: :usa: :usa: :usa: :usa:

Congratulations!! This car is basically brand new-it still had the sticker on the windshield :) :)

This is one BEAUTIFUL Viper, it was everything the buyer said it was!

Posts some pics-it is a requirement :D :D

Buy a Valentine (you'll need it), join the Viper club, be careful with the 'go' pedal and drive it like ya stole it :headbang: :headbang: :2tu:

Hope to meet you sometime

Bill
(and yes Bob you are correct-I loved the drive; especially the 'vette and bikes that wanted to play--they got the supreme pleasure of viewing my license plate )

Congrats.

Now get some sleep before you hurt yourself driving it.

I have a copy of break in procedure at the house, but its something like this.

0- 500 miles less than 3500 rpm
500-1000 miles less than 4000 rpm
1000-1500 miles less than 4500 rpm
1500-2000 miles less than 5000 rpm
2000 miles oil change.

I'll look tonight unless someone chimes in..

Bill Pemberton at woodhouse can fax you a copy.

Good luck & watch out she will bite you if your not careful. Make sure the wheel is straight when you gas her!

Congrats.

Congrats on the buy, sounds like a brand new car, and I think the FE will definitely be pretty collectible down the road.

The breakin info is actually in the owners manual :)

Great News.... Welcome to the fun.

Hope Bill did not drive 100 miles south, as he would have driven 20 miles past my house :)

Final Editions are the most refined as well as perfected GEN II ever produced. Not to forget they are also the fastest... ;)
