. Have they figured out how to use the larger blowers successfully?
Sean does great work and I am not knocking him but Paxton makes blowers for the Gen1 as well and they probably have them in stock. Are you guys just loyal to Sean? That's cool if you are but there are other options out there. Just saying.
The Paxton kit is nice but it is just not the same as a Roe. Off the line torque is what make the Roe set up attractive. Drive a 600+ rwhp Roe car and you'll understand.Sean does great work and I am not knocking him but Paxton makes blowers for the Gen1 as well and they probably have them in stock. I think the time is right to start another run of them. Its a different breed of owners that are picking up the early Generation cars. The old rich guys that purchased up front aren't of the same mindset of the younger owners. Now I would love to take my 96 and get more power out of it, unlike the older gentleman who originally owned it. Have they figured out how to use the larger blowers successfully?
I may be old (63) but I need more power!! I would buy one.
I don't mean to hijack the thread but from what I gathered, there were no real gains from upping the twin screw from 2.4L to 2.8L??

Roe's dont typically have any belt slip issues. Paxtons are the ones that are notorious for that. I am running @ 10 pounds of boost and i have never had ANY belt slip issues. It will be more efficient with the 2.8 because there is more volume per revolution. Also, because the pulley can be larger, it's less likely to have belt slip at the same PSI (more belt surface area).
