Interestingly enough, they are going to cover me although they have reservations in doing so. The adjuster basically called me a liar without saying so and stated that it seems like I was racing.
I calmly explained to her that the Viper is a 450 HP monster and cannot be driven like a Honda. One must learn how to drive it smoothly and therefore the driving school.
She then read an excerpt from the class manual that I faxed her. "Learn how to exploit the full potential of your car." She said "sounds like racing to me."
I then said "Yes, I want to exploit the full potential of my brakes when I have to stop quickly. I want to exploit the full handling ability of my car when I have to swerve out of the way of an accident or a deer without locking up the brakes or hitting something."
She then said, "We are sending you a check."
Now all that's left is the negotiating over what they said they are not going to cover.
That should be fun.
