Any comments on the route you ended up going to get these mounts swapped out? I had my oil pan off for Paxton install but am really not wanting to pull it again if I can help it. If not shell come off again.
Thanks
I did this on my 2004 following the manual procedure (I also believe I was able to use my Autel scanner). I programmed three key fobs including the original again. I think you just need to repeat the process for each fob before completing the process. I would try again
I didn't actually use the factory harness all the way into the car. I just attached on the factory harness until it left the trunk. After that I just ran the wiring into the cabin and under the carpet (behind the driver seat) into the centre console.
I installed my camera in my trunk and ran the wiring along the factory harness. I then was able to snake it through the interior under the back carpet and then up through the center console. Car is up on the lift for winter now but ill look back and see if I have any photos of the install...
I am also going to be swapping motor mounts and trans mount right away (tried last night so undo the bolts but they were too tight and I was too lazy to spend a ton of time after work). I think I am going to have to try out my induction heater device to get those bolts out. I may not get a...
I also had an intermittent issue on my 04 mamba edition. My issue was the connector to the wiper stalk behind the steering wheel cowl. It appeared to be connected properly. I disconnected and cleaned (no burnt pins or any issues I could see) and reconnected and all was good for a couple weeks...
When I last pulled my center console I noticed that I was missing one of the clips that the shifter ring trim screws into. I have also taken this off an on a bunch of times so some of the others are also not quite as tight as they used to be. I would like to order a set of these and replace them...
Ill just give an update. I think the issue is in the headunit. I installed a **** controller and wideband in advanced of my paxton install this winter and maybe a metal shaving went in there and shorted something out (triggered by the bump.. I did go through the harness and ensure all pins were...
I would look into the ground connections.. Sounds like you may have something loose there and with the battery terminals themselves bring loose I wouldn't be surprised if you have some other grounds that are loose and causing you issues.. Hopefully someone with some more knowledge of the...
Hey everyone.. I took my 04 srt10 into work today and on my drive home I ended up hitting a massive pothole on the highway (I was honestly worried about wrecking a tire/rim on my driver front tire). Anyways as soon as I hit the bump I lost my speakers. Adjusted volume and drove and nothing.. I...
Doing a bit of research on the tr6060 and surprised to see it is only rate at 430tq (430-650lb-ft depending on gearing).. This is a surprise to me as that doesn't seem too crazy..
Found some crate trans tr6060 for 5-6k cdn which doesn't seem horrible but again I want to make sure when I get my...
Thanks this is the exact information I was looking for. Not great news that I may need to go the t6060 route but there is no sense in dealing with the stock T56 (and spending to rebuild) so I will use it as-is and I will budget for a T6060. All that is required is a shorter driveshaft (any...
