With a sunny afternoon here in NorCal, I was able to get my car out for a few miles. In short, I'm extremely pleased with this Mopar Street exhaust setup. It's louder at idle and during acceleration, but popping on deceleration doesn't seems any worse than stock and cruising along on the...
I found mine on eBay; they come up there from time to time. Depends on how much of a rush you're in. Set up a search and have it e-mail you with new items daily...
Stock exhaust removal tool
Quick update: I have to admit that I probably had more fun than I should have cutting the old Gen3 exhaust out of there. But a sawzall made it a breeze and I didn't even have to take off the belly pan:
I know we've resolved that the H-pipe (or I-pipe :) ) is...
Yes, this was a very interesting list, thanks! Can you say more about the front wheel bearings? I'm assuming this is 4 cars and not 4 bearings into 1 car... Is this a common issue that we should / could do something proactive about?
Thanks,
Bryan
Thanks, everyone, great tips! I did find the Corsa instructions, which are excellent.
Regarding drone, the previous owner assured me that these did not, but frankly I can't figure out from searching this forum if they are going to be a problem or not. I'll just install and see (or hear, I...
Hi,
I'll be installing a used Mopar Street Exhaust setup this weekend (thanks Mike / unreelviper), and have a question about how to properly position the tip in the opening in the sill. I know I need to bias it toward the front to allow for thermal expansion, but without instructions, is...
Scott,
That sounds about right in terms of the number of bulbs. The actual blub change, once you get there, is trivially easy. Even getting there is not that bad. I'd say that someone who is familiar with taking out the center console could complete this in 60-90 minutes. If it's your...
What Dan said. Not tough at all, considering how deep into your dash you end up digging. Both the speedo cluster and instrument cluster just unscrew and unplug very easily once you get there. The LEDs need to go in the right way since they are a diode now instead of an incandescent light...
I just had a fun time upgrading my yellow, incandescent dash lights to the blue LEDs. I'm really pleased with the results and wanted to share a photo for those who might be considering this...
Enjoy!

+1. I got so fed up with the quality I was getting from Pirelli on my BMW that I switched over to PS2s. The difference you can feel while driving is amazing.
You also need to add the Sirius receiver, which has its own antenna. That receiver comes with a long harness and can be installed remotely, e.g. in the trunk.
I placed the GPS antenna on top of the RB1 housing in the dash, and that works fine. I put the Sirius antenna on top of the trunk...
Good advice -- I've done this and agree with Joel spot-on. IMO, it's going to be a lot easier to get your car safely up in the air versus thinking about how to cut / patch / repair your tunnel from above.
You might also want to have a replacement lower shift boot on-hand, along with 1/4"...
I'd like to understand how you will accomplish this. Is there a kit (short of an entirely new cat-back exhaust system) that removes the crossover and simply turns the exhaust directly out?

Nice! Best of luck and I'll look forward to hearing how it goes...
I'll answer your question about the case spreader as "not really". It was probably the most useful in pulling out the old carrier the first time, but since you're not doing that, you should be okay. Installing the carrier...
Just went through this. Devin @ Unitrax is still a fantastic resource and I suspect he will recommend the Wavetrac for all but full-on racing, in which case the OS Giken and Quaife are more money but might be better.
First Driving Impressions
Okay, it appears this thread has run its course and, as all lengthy threads must do, has degraded into a Viper vs. Vette discussion. Oh well... :)
I'll wrap things up with a couple notes on my first drive, which I was finally able to do this morning. In a...
My 2 cents: Allan answered one specific question, which was 0-60. If that was my only requirement for my car, then I agree with you -- don't make the change.
However, he also states (which matches my expectation) that the shorter gearing will cause the car to pull harder and accelerate...
