What I don't understand is why people keep trying to do this themselves to save a couple bucks, and keep risking repair failures... all while certain vendors such as us have these lines and fittings on the shelf, rebuilt, and ready to go without any question as to whether you got the defective...
I have three different 5K foglight options at the moment, ranging from about 875 Lumens, to 2100, to 3000 for the brightest. Its also worth noting that even at the brightest, the bulb design dictates that the light pattern is rather "slit like" as is intentional on a fog light creating a sheet...
As mentioned in this thread, both of the guys above have standard tunes- these are not "remote tunes" completed on a dyno, which would of course net a larger increase. Joe's numbers are consistent with minor mods + canned tune, and then adding 3.55 gears into the mix which will lower the wheel...
Or you can avoid the headaches, avoid the extra time, avoid tracking down the right fittings, avoid locating the anti-abrasion covering, avoid the worry if it is done right or if you have the right tools to assemble correctly, and spend less than 100 bucks more supporting a vendor... just...
Price is not really out of line for an excellent condition car... the values are climbing right now. I would say if it was bone stock 45K, but with the hardtop and any other mods, newer tires, and pristine... I could see 50K happening for the right buyer.
I think that the market has proven that the quality of work done means more that the fact that it WAS done. I will gaurantee there are plenty of non-salvaged cars out there that are in FAR worse condition than some of the salvage cars that have been rebuilt. I would also contend that a rebuilt...
To each their own, but IMO, the audio portion of the system is probably the furthest down the list of things I really care about when thinking about the MyGig. If it didnt even play music and simply had DVD audio and Phone audio, it would STILL be worth it. That said, the most important aspect...
This setup will work with the stock amp and speakers, and sound a good bit better than the OE system. Personally, I prefer to leave the OE setup alone, and instead add a separate subwoofer to the trunk or footwell that can easily be removed. No sense in going crazy on the other speakers, it is...
All of that... and a LOT more.
-Next Generation HDD based Navigation [No Map Discs needed, ridiculous features list]

-Bluetooth Phone [RER/RHR] and Audio [RHR only]
-Built In Sirius Tuner
-HDD Music & Photo Storage [20GB+]

At the moment, nothing is set in stone. Here is what I expect:
Package will come in a standard form, and include:
-Modified MyGig for Viper application w/internal integration module upgrade
-Dash Harness Adapter w/Reverse Input Wire [to be connected *if* you have a Rear Camera or Mirror...
Hey Guys,
I will be posting availability and start scheduling Jig rentals once we can get all of the loose ends tied up in production.
LovesSuperCars- Yes, the MyGig has all of the same features and then some, with far less hacking and a more OE feel and interface.
I think you guys should not do anything for a couple months while a little something we have been working on is in production. :)

At the moment, this is still something that needs to be installed here.... for now...
Agreed. I love the build in general, but there are a few places where they went too far. If the body was one color, different wheels, OEM gauges put back in, and a few other minor things... it would be a home-run.
New clips come with the fittings. However, that said, the OE clips are FAR better than the clips in the replacement fittings. The OE clips are a copper color. Beware of the blackened clips in the replacement fittings. They are not always square and can cause disconnect problems. We usually save...
Hello,
We are actually a good distance from NY, NY... about 8 hours.
Unfortunately this is an item that at this time is not a shippable kit, it really must be installed here. However, we are working to fix that right now, by integrating the integration module into the radio itself, and...
