Yea on the Gen 4 there is no spot to put the o2 sensors in the factory manifolds they are all in the downpipes. the original downpipes have spots for 4 o2 sensors total. two precat and 2 postcat. the mopar race system only has spots for 2 precat sensors.
Ive taken my kid out with me many times hes 2. the seat detects that the weight in it is low so a little light lights up on the dash that automatically turns off the front air bag when hes in the seat there. I just strap the car seat to the car with the seat belt which is always a fine option.
thank you. i wish i can take mine but ill be traveling from about 250 miles away with the family so we wont all fit. we're gonna take the Jeep 5.9 Limited and enter that but ill be sure to stop by and meet you guys and check your cars out.
that must be tough with the 50 rpms but it sounds like you go to someone who knows what they're doing so thats good. the 1975 deal is pretty crazy thats almost 50 year old vehicles that need to be tested.
I was more just curious about CA i know the other states all have their different laws with many states having no checks at all. i was just wondering if in CA if there is any cutoff at all or if all cars have to be tested. seeing that the OP has a car thats 30 years old and still needs testing...
when you were looking for the michelins, i know the ps2s have been discontinued a while but what about the ps4s? did you see any of those available? i was thinking about going with those in 355 width for the back and 285 width for the front. not sure how those compare in performance to the...
dam they make u do smog in california even if the car is 30 years old?? i knew it was bad out there but i thought they had to at least have some cutoff point. that is crazy. id just move the hell outta that communist state. how do they expect people with cars that old to be able to pass tests...
The Mopar part number is P4510176. It was designed for the 2003-2006 competition coupe but it fits perfect on 08-10 cars too. Not crazy loud but deep sounding. pretty resonably priced too i got mine for just over $600 full stainless. It increases pipe size from 2.5" to 3". eliminates the cats...
Besides new tires which are prob most important, ive always been a fan of sticking to the oem Mopar Performance parts. For your car you can do the Mopar pcm, race exhaust, underdrive pulleys, camshaft, acr rotors, and a few other things that will get you a good amount of power and you know all...
Id say to look for the vin tag on the block to make sure it matches but its in such a ******* spot that even with the car on the lift and even if you get a mechanics mirror theres no way to read it its too close to the frame of the car to look at.
I agree with you guys that 40 hours for a professional shop is way too much. I think for a regular person in their backyard that about an hour per bushing would be more realistic so for a professional shop maybe 10 hours for using poly or 12 hours for rubber. Ive done this myself using the...
are you able to still get those in our sizes? i did find a site called the coker tire company that carries them but only in 2 16" sizes. youre right though its good we can get the ps2 its a great tire just figured it would be great to get something new and improved
I think they will be better but probably still not recommended to drive them when its less than 35 degrees out. The current PS2 has a similar amount of dry grip as a new PS4 but only a 20k treadwear warranty compared to 30k on the newer one. The newer one is also better in the wet.
awesome.. they just responded to my message and said they see that the only option for viper is the PS2 and will forward it to their marketing department
Hey everyone, just wanted to see if there would be any interest in these new Pilot Sport 5 tires that just came out being made in Gen 1-2 Sizes 275/40/17 & 335/35/17. They wont work on my '09 but I do have a '98 TransAm that I use these sizes on and have been using the Ps2 viper tires for the...
Oh ok yea if you could find a way to keep your setup as is that would be the best option lol; it will keep your hp numbers and gas mileage at the best possible scenario.
you would probably have to cut about 6" off the tips in order for one of those resonator tips to bolt on without sticking out too much. id try to find a resonator tip like the one i attached where the inside diameter is still around 3" while the outside diameter is only about a quarter inch more...
