    Odds are it is the slave cylinder....though on a couple of occasions, I have seen slave and master cylinder go out on 2001-02 Vipers whose clutch fluid was not regularly changed.

    Dodge will sell you both along with the whole master cylinder. or order those parts separately for a 90's 2500 diesel Ram stick shift. I have not tried that in a couple of years but it did work in the recent past. or Contact Don Scharf Automotive in WI or Jones Auto Inc in Orleans IN.

    One bolt to frame, 6 bolts and 3 screws to bodywork, and one push pin to secure it to inner wheelwell liner.

    Mopar part number listed as 34202858 and the size is M10x1.25x80.00 As you can see, the lower bolt is larger than the upper bolt.

    What year? Upper or lower bolt...as they are different 92-2000. 2001-02 uses a different part number than non-ABS cars...though top and bottom bolts are identical.
