Backing out of the garage this morning and came to an abrupt stop, like I slammed on the brakes or pulled the ebrake. Confused, I pulled forward – put the car back in reverse, went a short distance in reverse and same thing – abrupt stop. Car goes into reverse fine – tried the same exercise in Neutral and with engine off, same issue – come to a hard stop going backwards. At this point I cannot even get it down the driveway to have it towed to a shop. Any ideas? I’ve researched and haven’t found any issue sounding similar besides reverse lockout, which does not appear to be the cause.

Looks like I found the issue - somehow my drivers side rear caliper it rotating a jamming against the inner wheel rim. Awesome.

What year? Upper or lower bolt...as they are different 92-2000.

2001-02 uses a different part number than non-ABS cars...though top and bottom bolts are identical.

Mopar part number listed as 34202858

and the size is M10x1.25x80.00

As you can see, the lower bolt is larger than the upper bolt.
