BRAND NEW and of course... Need Help... Big Time

Hi, Leo...welcome to the Forums. Admittedly, when reading the intro to your story, I was expecting to hear that you had purchased a Viper automobile. That said, Viper trucks are also cool. In order to help folks focus on assisting you with both the stated (as well as the implied ) issues, I...

Yes, the rocker switch next to the fog light switch does nothing on USA spec Gen I Vipers

Which begs the question: Was your Viper built as USA or "other" ?

    Upgraded Viper running rich?

All five Gens of our Vipers spit water and some black specs upon cold startup. As I recall, with the Prefix PCM, they can tune the decel popping either in or out. Can you go to a local dyno just to establish some baseline info?

Car died when driving and won't start [w/ video link]

Yes, I am in the Indy area...northwest side. Service is a tough deal...but I do have some thoughts...including a towing company that I have used many times for Vipers for both short and long hsuls. Give me a call if you like. 317-402-9013 I sure hope that you can pinpoint the issue...

Car died when driving and won't start [w/ video link]

Frustrating issue. Having a 2004 Service Manual would be quite helpful...particularly the 8 W section.. While in general the Gen III service manuals appear to be the same ( or nearly so), keep in mind that some of the color coded wiring is different when comparing 2003 and 2004 to 2005 and 2006...

    smooth tubes

The ones supplied by Adderware were precisely cut at a carefully calculated angle using a special radial saw blade, champherred on both ends for ease of installation, and long enough to fit all Gen I and II Vipers with their minute build dimensions. They were "developed" by a machinist/Viper...

    smooth tubes

Historically, red Gen I and II tubes initially came from SnakeOyl, Adderware, then Roe Racing, Woodhouse, and PartsRack. After that, there were a variety marketed. I preferred the source to be SAMCO in Great Britain...which was true for all of the above named sellers...including the black...

94 Viper cut out whilst driving and won’t start.

When you wrote about jumping the terminals to test fuel pump, were you referring to jumping the sockets for the fuel pump relay or did you mean the terminals on the fuel pump itself? If you meant the fuel pump relay's sockets (obviously with relay removed), was the 12 volt source the socket for...

    2005 SRT10 battery

Agree with Goggles Pizano on dip in quality...especially standard flooded lead acid batteries. A couple of years back, a string of Diehard Gold and Duralast Gold batteries were only lasting 2 years at best with regular, intermittent charging (every 4 weeks) but no tender. The keys to any...
