So after finding out the front tie rods fit the back, I'm thinking the toe link is nothing more than the front steering link, with the screw end screwed into a brace instead of the steering rack.
Viper part, with boot covering joint
Steering link assembly.
The brace is simply a steel rod...
I believe all Viper wheels fit all other Vipers with no modification. I'm not sure on the speedo answer though.
There's a thread on a sister forum site talking about sale values. {fact check. We do not have a sister site}
Most are seeing prices going up on vipers, So $25K on the low side of a...
Mine like yours, needed some TLC when I got it. I've got a 96 GTS that had 86k miles.
If the fluids haven't been changed, I would do all of them. Especially the Coolant. I ended up doing a new radiator and hoses on mine, and I switched Coolant to Dex-cool after doing some research. Also did a...
I took the dash out of my 96 GTS and spray painted it Black. It's not perfect, but it looks 10x better than before. I hate that rubber paint stuff.
If you go the remove and paint route, be very careful not to break the dash cover! Its mega expensive, and that's if you can reasonably find a...
What sites are you searching? Prices for Gen 2's seem to be on the uptick.
The price I bought my 96 at last year, might be unheard of for a while.
Good luck with the Search, If I come across any deals in your range, I will post up.
Not cheap but...

I think I need new toe links, and was wondering if the end is the same part as the front Tie rod.
Does anyone know?
cost is like $50 vs $200. I know I would only be replacing the end, but the middle looks fine.
Thanks guys in advance.
Check the bundle going into the door at the hinge. You may have chaffed wires that is causing a short.
You may also have faulty door contact switches. I just had to replace one on my 96 due to passenger side not opening from the outside.
If you need info on the switches, check my thread...
I just pretty much replaced all the front engine gaskets minus the head gaskets with Cometic gaskets from Dan Lesser http://viperspecialtyperformance.com/catalog/index.php/cPath/22_85
These gaskets seem so much better than the mopar factory paper gaskets that glue themselves to the mating...
I am going through this same scenario also. I bought a new water pump thinking it was the water pump gasket.
I am not 100% confident, so I'm doing the Timing cover gasket also.
My leak is running right next to the Oil filter, and it's a drip drip leak. Noticed a puddle of coolant under the...
So I know this is an old thread, but I was working on removing my water pump due to a leak and noticed my Balancer bolt was loose.
Just a reminder, Guys check your balancer bolts!
I just ordered an ARP replacement bolt. Plan on 250 ft/lbs and red Loctite.
ARP-2402501 for $37
I've got a 96 GTS so there may be differences, but the coolant temp gauges does fluctuate a lot in mine. It doesn't seem like what you describe. If mine is sitting still idling it goes up above the 200 and then kick the fans on to cool it back down. The faster you go and higher gear the cooler...
I'm finding out how simple of a car they are. When I bought mine, I got a great deal because it needed some work. Radiator, and Transmission rebuild later, it is really reliable. Car is really simple. Really a throwback to classic muscle cars. Very analog car.
No experience with that dealer, but car looks nice, and not a bad price.
Any used car buy has a little risk. Only thing to do is to drive it, and go from there. Be prepared to walk away if it's miss-represented though.
