I think I at least determined the P/N by searching the Viper Store and then calling because I couldn't find them in the top drawing. Turns out they screw into the "roll-over" structure and not the top itself. Advised Viper Exchange, waiting to hear something.
Tomball Dodge spun off their Viper business to Viper Exchange adjacent to the dealership. All Viper work goes there as well as them providing storage for some REALLY NICE CARS. I saw a new-build CSX Shelby Daytona Coupe in there.
That said, until a few weeks ago, Andy Wheeler was the Viper...
16 months later, it's STILL at Viper Exchange. The manager just didn't seem to want my money, or maybe he didn't like first-gen Vipers. It took six months before I was called asking for payment on the mechanical work done. When I paid, I asked about their schedule to perform the interior...
Looking for the Gen I hard top pins. I didn't see them in a parts diagram and I didn't see them installed, so I can't describe where they attach. Finger-length, half-inch of thread on one end, hex-head on the other. Steel.
'96 RT/10. It was my father's, he bought it new and put 70,000 miles on it a his daily-driver. I got it when he passed away in 2009. It sat for eight years as I was fearful of cracked suspension arms. It's now at Viper Exchange getting the Steve Austin treatment.
My window is rather narrow, Tuesday the 8th through Friday, June 11.
Where do you guys like to drive? All I see is Little Eagle Creek Ave west of Westfield. I know there's some nice stuff southwest of Indianapolis, just wondering if I'm missing something on Google Maps.
What's kool about these?
"240ZX" Huh? I guess you mean 280ZX?
For me, the adjective "kool" is a bit dubious when applied to the following:
1967 Datsun 1600 Roadster (long gone)
1972 Olds Cutlass (long gone)
1986 Dodge Shelby Charger Turbo (long gone)
1994 Nissan Sentra SE-R undergoing...
Glass can be funny. (Funny strange, not funny ha-ha.) I was pulling a still-warm beer mug out of the dish washer once and the darned thing exploded in my hand. Luckily there were no injuries. It made no contact with anything other than my hand.
No confusion here. Headlight assembly replacement is going to be a maintenance item for me. My headlights have been polished once already, no sure how many times that can be done before wearing through.
Holy Smokes! You need a different shop!
I didn't think the Nissan Versa had been on sale for five years.
All I know is, fog lamp lenses are eighty bucks each. That's pretty damned steep. Head light assemblies are 800 hundred each. Simple amazing. And replacing them is inevitable...
LeMons is over, I can start to think of other things, like Viper cruises.
We didn't win, we blew up an engine and replaced it overnight, yet finished the race on the track. I got my hour of seat time and set the second fastest team time. We had three drivers with race experience. I hit no...
