    AFCO Coil Overs

AFCOs are a well-liked coil-over on 1st and 2nd generation Miatas. I would put them on my short list if I were in the matket.

    St. Louis event

That was the big event my father attended. Just knowing which VOI it was gives me a good start for searching out more stuff. I have the baseball cap he got there.

Can someone advise me about this event? Maybe a decade ago. Thanks.

    UK/ German VCA meet

Dodge Rams are big sellers in Europe??? I was surprised at the relatively large number of Caravans and Jeeps I saw in Italy a decade ago.

    Viper wheel offset

Why am I having such difficulty locating this number? :dunno: It doesn't come up with a forum search, the VCA page where this might reside is down, I've tried several online wheel stores and I'm getting nothing. My local Discount store just balanced all four and said everyone of them has some...

ODBI cars are not adaptive...much.. ODBII are significantly more facile.

Vipers plastic headlights... are you kidding me!

Mine don't. Damn things are clouding again. Previous owner had them polished, too. Anyone who uses plastic for ANYTHING that is exposed to sunlight is an idiot. :nono: Well and truly. Plastics CANNOT handle U.V. Screw weight savings except on a race car where it really matters.

"91 Octane, Anything higher NOT RECOMMENDED."

You're talking fuel trim. Turbos and N/A cars are apples and oranges when discussing octane.

"91 Octane, Anything higher NOT RECOMMENDED."

Tom has it exactly right. I would add that cyclic aromatic hydrocarbons like toluene often suffer incomplete combustion due to that low volatilty and cause carbon build-up in cylinders and reduced catalytic converter life.

    Weather strip adhesive

I have weather stripping coming of the edge of the hard top. From what the search engine returned, everyone has been using 3M Weather Strip adhesive. Just wondering if it's still all it can be or is there something else that's now the shizzniks, like Gorilla Glue? Thanks

This was a long awaited birthday (insurance dropped!)

AARP/Hartford was REALLY good to me. They knocked over 60% off what I was paying Farmer's best mutual company.

Poll: Daily Driver yes or no...

Blue on white. I voted as a daily driver because that's what my father did with the car. I won't be doing that, though.

Poll: Daily Driver yes or no...

I didn't vote. I've put maybe one hundred miles on the car since Pops purchased it new in '96. I'm still working on the title transfer.

Poll: Daily Driver yes or no...

My father drove his (now mine) '96 RT/10 daily. I couldn't do it because of ergonomics. My Miata, on the other hand, is my daily driver.
