Just buy a V1 direct. Ask them if they have any reburbed RDs when you call and you can save ~$50 and it should have the latest software. Purchase the mirror mount and wiring kit we discussed in the other thread and you'll be good to go. BTW, if you want to move the RD from one car to another...

I have those mounts for my Expedition and Viper, move the V1 from car to car. Easiest way to tap into the factory mirror wiring is below. Interesting timing, I actually wired both cars today. Very clean installation and done in 5 minutes.

I'm not far away, drove mine last weekend and will drive it this weekend if it's dry and no salt on the roads. We've been fortunate this year in the DC area.

Mike Baxter of MXB says he plans to have an A piller pod available soon. In terms of the gauge, there are many choices. I'm leaning toward a Autometer Phantom white face fuel pressure and boost gauge in the pod.
