Geez, the emphasis on the horsepower number and not the type of work that was done to it is just plain stupid. So, listing a high BS number by anyone who can manipulate a dyno would sell this car better? Are we looking for the ones with a lot of money and little brains? I think they're in...
Yeah, right on- it is that simple. If you think about it too much, of course it won't be done. The thing about the legacy to be careful of ???!!!! - I don't follow. You win some, lose some. Just get out there with that Gen V and find out what win on Sunday and sell on Monday gets you. You...
Wow, you actually want to hear the drone? Yep, there's all kinds out there. How about if you're driving for more than a half hour? I threw over $4K away in exhaust mods because the exhaust drone/loudness was too much.
You shouldn't have a problem as I did this but only with the mufflers; kept the original cats through headers. If you went to less cat, it may be louder and drone more than you like. It also spits on startup and while it's warming up! The reduced heat buildup in the cabin is worth it though.
Thanks a bunch, Paul! This was very helpful because I have been looking for the right tires to fit the new HREs I have been eyeing for quite a while. Your wheel/tire changes didn't affect the speedometer calibration?
No doubt regulations add costs but I think the marketplace has more to do with making the automakers change their designs more often. By marketplace, I mean the competition and consumer desires.
"There is no freedom in America. None. " Wow, you really believe that Chuck? It sounds more...
The debt is in trillions (legacy of climbing deficits; I stand corrected, Chuck) - a staggering amount that spending cuts alone will not fix.
Eucharistos - "general good" - not following you. No one else uses the roads except drivers using gasoline. When electric cars become significant...
Well, like it or not, globalism is here and we have to mine its advantages to survive. SRT is developing this Gen V and probably will have Ferrari intelligence or engineering or whatever to influence all of the vehicles in the SRT lineup. For eveyone of you (like myself) who value American...
It would help but with the amount of deficit we have, there isn't plenty of money. There aren't enough people paying taxes. I think the gas tax is the fairest way to pay for the badly needed road repair; users pay for the upkeep with no loopholes for anyone. Cheap gas is over. Too many...
I had an 01 Vette before this 05 Viper; it spent too much time in the shop. This Viper spent very little and that time was for mods/maintenance. It was a DD for a while and it was fine but you do worry about its security rather than comfort which isn't really bad if you are built right. Just get...
