I'm not sure if I'm misunderstanding what you wrote....but, are you saying Corsa just gives a good sound and doesn't help you add any power on the dyno?? As far as I know and from what many people have stated on this forum, adding Corsa gives you one of the highest power gains for any Cat-back...
I not once ever thought about "gas prices" with my car before I bought it and while I own it up until this very moment. It's honestly not even that bad when it comes to gas mileage. A fricken ford explorer is prob worse, let alone any SUV or Truck and look at how many people own one of those...
I already have that page "liked" on facebook.. did it awhlie ago :smirk:
I never even check the page, but if I see any updates from it on my news feed when I log into facebook, I might chime in on some things if I feel the need. ;)
+1 Dom.. :2tu:
This sounds about right..
I figure with my setup below I should gain at least 40rwhp, considering I already have the K&N Dual FIPK.
American Racing Headers 1-5/8" X 1-3/4" step design
200 cell ultra high flow metallic substate cats
Corsa 3" Cat-back Exhaust
I'll be seeing an...
Are you referring to late GEN II models? I haven't heard this type of information at all... Everything I'm hearing you will gain at least 20-25rwhp with most headers, maybe even more with the right tune...especially on earlier GEN II Vipers. What your saying I heard is true towards GEN III...
From my knowledge when I fill up a full tank on the Viper it's about 15-16 gallons total on my 96 GTS. How many gallons does it take to fill up your truck? Wouldn't your pickup cost around the same amount as a Viper or slightly more money to fill up at the pump even if you're not using 91 or 93...
I was also told by a few people that having the headers coated won't really make a difference, and for how much it would cost to have them coated isn't worth it...
Can anyone chime in with this? Is the coating really affective at reducing a lot of heat at all? I have no problem saving money if...
Thanks man!
Yup, the American Racing High-Flow Metallic Cats. I was planning on using my Ceramic RandomTech High-Flow cats I already have, but Tator suggested if I'm doing headers it only makes sense to use the 3" Cats with the American Racing since they will bolt up nicely to the Headers...
nutkees, you're setup sounds really good. I didn't do much research on B&B Headers or their cat-back. I currently have the Corsa cat-back which I don't plan on changing anyway, but the B&B do seem to make a really nice sound. I like your setup a lot..
After a month of research and reading...
Yup, that is the plan! I will let you know how it goes if you're interested in doing the same. I will of course post pictures on here too if this ends up being done through him.
It will work fine. I had an Alpine Head Unit with mp3/bluetooth installed in my car back in the spring of 08 along with new subs, speakers, amps, cd-changer, radar etc.,.
My driver's window goes up very slow.. the passenger side always rolls up quicker. Most likely the motor for it, so I will be having this looked into over the summer for sure.
Agreed. The Viper and Mustang were never in the same class to begin with...
When it comes to domestic performance:
One class:
Viper
Corvette
I think some might even consider the Ford GT in this class, if it were up against the ZR1 and ACRX.
----------
The other class:
Mustang
Camaro
Challenger
You make a valid point, however there is no remote chance in my life where I would ever even let a potential thought come into my head where I would consider buying a Mustang. I hate them with a passion.
I do agree, the Viper shouldn't be the only car in your garage. If you're a car guy, of...
You didn't give me time to post what I thought you should buy?!!! :(
lol, I didn't notice your post this weekend.. BUT....I would have went with the red too, so good choice :D
I do like these! I think they would look better being a lighter blue to match my car tho.. do they make them in dif...
