How about that front end in your avitar? Are those available? Also in one of your posts you mentioned adding some sort of lip spoiler to the top, ever work that out?
I want thr ACR look...but I still want to be able to put the top down. I was thinking I'd pick up your top and get the ACR aero stuff. Would the top be able to support an ACR wing?
please get some more pics up!
Steve, do you still have these? I'm thinking about maybe switching to a coupe but I'd like to check out that top you make....I don't know if I am ready to give up the convertable yet.
Yeah, only three guys wanted to dyno so apparantly that's not enough. I've never delt with these guys.
I've dyno'd my car a dyno spot a few weeks ago so I have no need to re-dyno at the moment.
Dick will be happy to get you on the dyno anytime during the week. It's $125 for dyno with a/f.
Edgar has arranged a dyno session for MAY 3 9:30am at Full Function techs in Fremont.
The cost is $100 for three runs and it will include air/fuel ratio.
The link to their web site: http://www.fftec.com/
please post up if you would like to attend or private message
Funny thing about those gauges...while they look like individual 2 1/16" gauges...they are actually a single unit behind the dash...so you'll need to do a guagendectomy from the "gauge assembly" to make room for your new gauge to fit.
...there will be cutting involved...and grinding.....and probably more cutting and then a little more grinding :)
the end result will be very factory looking:2tu:
Well, ya know 1 pound of rotational mass equeals 4 pounds of dead weight....so you just added 4 pounds of dead weight to you car there Wallbanger....that would keep me up at night
The 3.33's came with a quaife ;)
I suck at the launch so 3.33, 3.55 or 3.07 it's alll bad for me anyway...freeway running....the 3.55's were noticably "more fun".
I used motul rbf 600 a couple years ago. I don't track the car I do drive it hard though but I didn't notice much of a difference between stock and the motul fluid. I found the pedal got spongy after about 6 months. I went back to the factory fluid, it lasts much longer with normal use.
I respect nitrous. I don't like seeing all the tubes and wires though. I'm not a fan of refilling tanks either. I've yet to see a "CLEAN" install on a viper.
Re: Anybody compare the performance advantages of the Belanger headers vs Archer Raci
Jon B has some headers by Archer Racing listed on his site.......no tech info on them or on Archers site.
Re: Anybody compare the performance advantages of the Belanger headers vs Archer Raci
You can't go wrong with any of the headers. They will all improve the sound. They will all give you some power....though not a whole lot. I've not seen anything regarding the archer headers...new to me. Have...
it's a pain to clean the inside anyway. and when you clean the inner barrels you have to clean the calipers too..front and back and also clean the suspension otherwise you'll see dirty thing reflecting in your wheels...it's kind of a lot of work but when it's clean, it looks cleeeean:D
