Mike thanks for the info. IF your asking me about tire pressure I do have them all at 29psi. Bouncing is felt mostly in the rear I would say. I talked with KW today about this issue and they did say I can send my shocks back to them if I want them to verify spring rates. I also told them...
This would have a hard time standing up in court I would think. Nobody can say who was driving, So who can you blame??
Then again Ive never had any luck in the courts of the state of Ohio...lol I always think speed limits dont apply to me, but the court sees that differently:D
Also they were...
Mike, I only have one adjustment for rebound. 12 different settings. The springs and shocks were a package deal right from KW, so I didnt pick my spring rates and I really dont know what they are. The ride height I wouldnt think would change anything either but what others have said it does...
Viper53---
Did you drop the underbelly pan and visually c the tranny mount?
I didn't when I changed mine and I just thought the movement I was feeling was from the trans mount. So once I went to change it I noticed it wasn't broke but I put the wood house mount in anyways and just caulked it...
I did just switch out the tranny mount....(engine mount was broke but I didn't know it). It did make it feel very firm/stiff.etc and that was with a broken drivers side engine mount...lol
The vibration would be there either way I'm sure.
God that gum chewing was aggravating as hell!!! ..lol To bad that C6 didnt stay on it he would have never took the side hit.......Perfect example of not letting off till the next light...lol
If you were not the original owner I would just think someone had an alignment done once already. Now if you bought it new and never aligned it then I would be scratching my head
Damn it........lol I sure was hoping to give myself a reason to burn off the pirelli's ...:) Well maybe in the spring when i get the car back out of storage i will raise it up a few inches and take it for a drive on roads that i know the car bounces on. And Ive said it a thousand times its...
Yes its low......ground to front fender is 25" and ground to rear fender is 26 3/4'' I was reading my manual (the two pages in english) and it had some minimum and maximum heights for the shock body itself. I never measured where mine are and had the wheels off the car today but looked at...
Ok to whoever is following this...
This is on a 03 viper with 19/20 forgelines and pirelli Pzeros
Set the backs from full firm to full
Soft and set the fronts at click 4 so on the soft side.
Car ride is much softer no question I didn't notice a difference when I went from setting 6 to 12(full...
Lol....yep I am. I didn't mind the feel before but I found after I installed the trans mount I noticed I had a broken motor mount..(which was the cause of the trans movement) ..so I replaced that and switched out the trans mount back cuz that vibration was annoying. The cars slammed with kw's...
I had the same vibration issue when I installed the trans mount. 2000-2800 rpms. I got annoyed with it after 500 miles and took it back out and put the factory one back in.
what year cadillac's are you taking about?? The new V is an awesome car. Paint/interior/engine/brakes you name it. My E46 M3's interior looks like hell compared to the new V's. Im not saying there isn't better but consider 569Hp with luxury for 60-70G's, not bad if you look at the...
Beerly---if you have a pressure sensor on the fuel rail whats it say? If i remember correctly stock gen 3 should be around 50psi at the rail. cycle the key a few times and look at the gauge. What year car? I had a cam sensor go bad on mine which was the same symptoms you describe. If it...
sorry didnt check the forum. I have the artic white and no on the upgraded wire harness. Just a 10 minute switch. No changing anything but the bulb itself.
Ive posted some pics when I changed them out. I put one in and snapped a pic so you could see the difference but im not sure how to...
Yes it does stop if i apply some brake. But again I still think its the ebrake..lol. I think the inside ebrake pad rubs just a tad. I replaced the whole caliper years ago because it would drag. I have a feeling its doing the same thing still
