Pictures coming soon but I will now have a 2010 ACR Wing! Jon B could not stand that I was not fully completing my project so he made me a deal I could not refuse!!!
Jon is the MAN! I will update the pics as soon as possible. Hopefully I will be done this weekend
Working on a parts list now. I'll let all the local track rats know when Mike and I get the pricing and parts list done.
It will most likely be something you can place through a major performance parts supplier.
Thanks Dan, I will be upgrading to the mono-ball and race ball joints later this season or at the end of the season. I may do the steering rack bushings now.
Well let's see some vid of MSR :) Yep I was busy at it this weekend. I need this thing done!! I am ready to hit the track. Catch can is easy, let me know.
Thanks Tiago
Worked most of the weekend on the car. Got a lot done but not a lot of pictures. Here is the Diff cooler and pump. I still have to wire it and make one more line.
I finished up the front fender liners and stainless brake lines as well as installed the adjustable sway bar...
The slave was most likely cracked during disassembly or reassembly while the tech was changing the clutch. The are very fragile and you have to put the transmission straight on with no wiggling or this happens. Ask me how I know :(
The suburban was actually pretty fun, I don't think the Vette in from of me liked me coming up behind him in the braking zones :)
I didn't mean to get so close to you in the hotpits when drifting the suburban, I saw you fall over a wall and couldn't help but feel a little responsible. :D j/k...
Yes, there will also be two lengths of metal strap that will go under the main caliper bolts and attach to the hose clamp that will be installed on the flex hose to brack duct connection. As soon as I install these I will take more pictures. The duct is kind of wedged in so it can't move a lot.
Thanks Ken, it is and happy as always with another project. I have a picture of the Cobra on the wall in the garage, think about it a lot. It was a great car!
This has been mentioned a couple of times. Like I have said, I will have everything that is on the X with the exception of the 10 wing and the controller tune for the X.
I will be roughly $25K less into this than buying an X with paint.
The biggest difference is the $25-30K I would have...
Update from last two days. I finished the bracket for the differential cooler, mounted it and started to prep the diff for the pump and lines. The pump is due in FedEx after 3 months of backorder :(
I also changed the brake lines as the stainless steel lines I had will not allow the fitment...
Thank you for your help, you are talking about the hub nut, not the four bolts I am referring too. It is hard to find tech info on our cars. I wish the VCA would help out and include more technical data for us all. That would make this site much more valuable to us all.
The bolts that I am talking about would snap at half that. I believe you maybe thinking of the main axle nut on the rear. Not even sure if it is that high though.
I need the torque spec to the four bolts that hold the wheel bearing hub assembly on. Can anyone help?
2008 Viper, also need the torque spec for the caliper bolts.
Thanks in advance
I believe the Hardcore saved 40lbs over the regular ACR. The weight came from lack of stereo with delete panels, no hood pad and no rear carpet or air pump. I know the hood pad couldn't weigh too much but I think they wanted an even 40lb weight reduction.
Maybe it was just for marketing, I...
I think he is referring to spring rates to accommodate for aero. The ACR as I am sure you know has a much stiffer rate in the rear. Most people run 500F 800R springs with the motons but with the Aero he is asking if you accounted for this.
The only tuning available is the Mopar controller on the 08's. It is not programmable but will allow aftermarket exhaust, heads and rocker arms be done as well as intake porting. It is not have the ability to custom tune.
The 06 can be tuned more readily and there are sponsors here that can...
