If you are changing ride height yes, if you are simply adjusting bounce or rebound this does not change the corner weights. Corner weighting is nice but not necessary for a street driven car, although just like an alignment, the better it is set up, the better it will feel and respond. When I...
Tony, I agree that the tires make a big difference. I do feel that the Motons made a much better improvement though. Much smoother, much better handling, I can adjust the suspension for normal street driving as well as track driving.
I did do the Motons first, then the tires so this may be...
You say you don't want to argue or start anything other than a discussion, yet you sarcastically attack others for their point of view.
Are you for real?? :nono:
If you are going to keep your arguement up, at least make more points after you have used a search button. You will...
These pictures are from more than a year ago, I have reconfigured the garage alot since then. I would recommend anyone with a 10' garage looking for a lift seriously consider this Bendpak. I have really enjoyed it, and it has worked flawlessly
I can not remember the floor thickness, but it is over the 4" recommended. It was actually poured as part of the main slab so it has the same beams that the house has. I can open the passenger door almost all the way. I have done every type of mod myself in the garage, and have yet to have an...
Stock ride height it would fit right under, with Motons I have to drive on boards first (I use 4 1' long 2 x 12's) Very easy. I have a mark on the floor where to place them, takes me less than 5 minutes to get it lifted off the ground.
Here is my 843r's from HRE with the hidden hardware
They look very good without the hardware, I would suggest this look if you don't want the maintenance, or like in my case, where I did not prefer the look of the hardware (bolt heads) showing.
Tony,
I agree with your opinion on the LSX motors, but there is not the same comparison of the drivetrain. The transmission in the back is nice for weight distribution, btw Viper's is better, but looses some shift feel and durability. The rear end is not even in the same league, honestly...
I don't know the total count either, but I do know that RSI has more than 50+ TT cars out. They have a complete customer list. I don't know if they share that kind of information (names of customers), but I do know they do more than 10+ per year.
I agree the viper market is limited, but it...
I have quite a few 1/4 mile passes and street miles on the car, I have done fine at 750 RWHP to date. The stickiest tire I run is a drag radial though (18" at that) so the parts have not really been put to the test. I would say for street driving, absolutely, for drag stip on slicks, NO.
I have a bolt on RSI kit, stock long block. 10.56 @139 on 18" drag radials and not so great track prep. The quality is outstanding, and the customer service has been excellent. You can not compare a Paxton to a TT, but the price difference is quite different as well.
I agree with Kelly...
Jumping in on this one.
As a past RSI customer, I just want to say that the way you (Jason), Tony and Kevin have all treated me and my project, I would say keep up the quality work.
My only suggestion, start stocking more items for us impulse buyers. If you have what we want, when we want...
