Call Jon-lefty-B,
He has the oem covers. Best fit. I'm on my second one. 10 years for the first one.
I cover my car out side when I drive it to work. I think that is what caused it to start to wear.
1.5 years is ok. These tires have improved over the years as far as life and heat cycles.
Yes, nothing like a fresh set but at 1.5 years, I would run them. As always, run easy for the first lap.
:drive:
It sounds like your car is close to what you want. Having someone else driver your car at this point may not help you. Once your close, small changes will help you find what works for you. Remember the rule, slow in fast out. There is so much truth to that catch fraise.
What will help is...
Trade up. The gen3's will be around for a long time with a low value. Gen4's will be worth a bit more but I think you'll be able to replace it for 25-45K for years to come.
The GT will become hard to find for less than 125k. In a few years the GT will be 150-175k and up.
When and if you want...
JonB sent me a new Dodge Viper Cover last week. It is the same one I have had for 10 years. I use it inside and out. Performs well in the wind. Loose fit in the wind will fly away. I have to think that a tight fit will be safer if your talking about scuffing. Any way, buy a good quality...
PS-2 is a PHENOM tire, and if you SEARCH you will be innundated with hundreds of testiminials to that fact...... but buy FOUR...........
:2tu::santa3:
Make that 100's and 1, These tires stick better than any of the Pilot's ever did.
Fast(er) Viper Dan
It looked as if the Vette tried to push back after getting a little forward of center.
It looked like he had room if he would have stayed left ?:dunno:
