I never could figure out why people consider cars with over 10k were high mileage when they are just barely broken in yet but for some reason they seem to have that stigma which is totally unfounded IMHO. Prices always seemed to reflect that these 10k and under cars are much more desirable for...
While I too am not a big fan of washing my car with Dawn or any dish soap I do not think it is anybodies recommendation to use it all the time. While I feel there are better ways of removing the wax such as 50/50 mix of Alchohol or Prep Sol or even a good polish such as Menzerna. That said...
Who sells the best power steering pulley?
After reading a few post I figure it would probably be a good idea to have one ready in the event I ever need one. I am assuming a nice billet one would look real nice on the car anyway.
And how do you put it it? Assuming you have to remove the pump...
Any of the above methods will work but if you are going to polish the paint again there is no real need to remove the wax first. Sapphire is a b!tch to get perfect.
I hate to say it but most of the above is true with the exception of modded Vipers selling for more money. That said, "some" modded Vipers do. I have seen some TT cars going for 6 figures but I suspect they have to be done right etc...
Also, it is not just black, most of the rarer/more...
It is good to see a few of the last posters have some brains. Mine has way less than 15k on it but I would not let it go for anything near the prices listed in this thread. Clean low mile cars are REALLY hard to find. 15k sounds like it is still in the low mileage range. Not saying it...
Don't you need to twist tie the tube to something to prevent it from moving? When I bought mine it actually came with the zip tie. I don't drive my Viper very hard but I have never gotten a drop of fluid out of the vent tube.
Bob is correct, the really nice low mileage super clean cars are getting farther and fewer apart and are going up in value. You average drivers are very reasonable right now. I am guessing as they get more rare they will all eventually hold their value. The question is will it be during my time.
Looks like an opportunity for the aftermarket. Pull that ugly grill out and install either a Carbon Fiber or body color replacement or maybe just some trim to cover where the ugly grill attached. Just a thought.
From the picture above it looks like they will/did... I am glad I have my Gen II. I do not think they will ever capture the essence they did in the Gen II GTS, even if it does have 700hp.
I am not obsessed with the mileage and drive it as much as I can. Unfortunately it just works out that I don't drive it as much as I like to. The fact that I have another car also comes into play and the fact that I have been a Corvette guy for years and many of my friends have Vette's so I...
It is NOT an investment. Maybe an investment in my sanity but there are MANY FAR BETTER investments out there. That said if I ever decide to sell it it would be nice not to take a bath on the car. It would need to be worth close to a million dollars to cover insurance and maintenance alone...
You are on the right track. You really want something with less than 10,000 miles as to some Viper collectors anything over 10k is high mileage. I am not sure I agree but that seems to be the consensus on these cars for some odd reason. I bought mine with 985 miles and obviously paid top...
They do have a unique look about them when they go down the road. Sinister is probably a god way to describe it. I followed Swexlin to a Exotic Show last weekend and could not believe how cool they look on the road. I also got to check out everybody checking his Viper out. I just love...
It is a hobby of mine trying different car care products and I have tried just about EVERYTHING and have to say I always end up back with Zaino. I have not found a product yet that compares with Zaino when it comes to ease of application, looks and durability. Everything else will usually be...
I think he was asking if it was a repaint not suggesting that he repaint it.
My 02 has flawless paint but in the right light you can see some wavieness in the door panels and can see the fiberglass pattern simetimes in the hood depending on the temperature. Both are very slight and typical...
Zaino sells the claybars seperate and is one of my favorite clay bars.

I love it, it is almost as nice as Sapphire. But then, I may be a little biased. It is definitely one of the better Viper colors. I also like that Slate color the Gen III's come in. I can't remember the exact name.
