Steel Gray is one of the NICEST colors Vipers were made in. Nothing wrong with a 2000.
You really do not need a forged bottom end if you are not supercharging and ABS is nice but not a necessity, especially if you are not tracking it. Steel Gray was the color that got me hooked on Vipers...
So Lightning McQueen is the new Gen V Viper.
You do realize how pissed I was after watching that entire video in anticipation. Great clips, wish I was there.
I would retitle your thread to something like. If you purchased MGW stuff at VOI 11 Please Read, otherwise it may be doubtful he will read this thread. Good Luck.
In my opinion "quality" Vipers are still selling for descent money and holding their value fairly well. That said everything is down with this economy.
I should also probably mention everybodies idea of what a "quality" Viper is varies.
Prices also vary based on color and condition...
I am going to try to make it. Thanks for the compliment.
Goldcup, that car is AWESOME. It pulls hard in EVERY gear. I am very happy with the performance. It actually makes my stock GTS feel slow. That said the GTS will always have a special place in my heart.
If it makes any of you feel...
My cupholder is much much nicer than yours. It is called my wife, she also does laundry and cooks dinner on occasions. ;) She is also hot. :2tu: Sorry, not posting any pics of my cupholder.
LOL they were actually strategically placed on the hood and roof to protect it from splatter.
I did use the rear of the car as my microfiber shelf. :lmao: The car was clean and I needed a clean spot to put my towels. Don't worry, they were good microfibers and I can assure you they did not...
I have to somewhat disagree. The Cleveland and Windsor had a big difference in performance where as the creampuff vs older forged motors really do not perform much different. Some even say the creampuff performs better. That is obviously a topic for another thread. The only advantage to the...
Gen II's are at the bottom right now. The no story super clean cars are getting farther and fewer apart and prices only have one way to go, up. That said there is a lot of junk out there that can be had for cheap.
They didn't make many of these cars and people are screwing them up and wrecking...
I have also heard stories on this board about hot chicks flashing their tits to guys while they are driving their Viper but of course this does NOT happen to me. :dunno:
Yes, you are correct LA, I hate taking any of my cars to car shows or cruise nights anymore because people do not care and...
Wow, very cool. Glad to see you enjoying it. I have problems putting 1000 a year on mine. That said I do have 4 cars and live where the driving season is short. As much as I love driving my Viper I have no desire to drive it in the rain or snow etc...
Exactly.
Single digit mileage, so you are telling me my 2000 mile GTS is now high mileage. ;) :lmao:
I do make it a point to get mine out every month at the very least to keep everything moving and to enjoy the car but with the Callaway, work and the kids etc etc it is hard...
It is probably a good thing I could not find a place to pull over as I suspect I may have ended up in jail that night. As somebody mentioned I would probably have given him a colonoscopy with his flare or at the very least made him eat it.
Yes, Blk/silver, Sapphire/silver and maybe Graphite/silver seem to demand top dollar IMHO especially when they are in the condition of my and Lee's GTS's. ;) :lmao:
I have to say it would take close to that for me to consider selling mine. :nono: I sure am glad I do not have to sell in this...
I was the victim of a Viper hate crime the other night. Actually it was a few weeks ago, it was the first Friday of the month and I was on my way to the local cruise night. I was coming up to a weird intersection in my neighborhood where you have to make a right then a left to follow the road...
Very nice. I have RT Cats and Corsa's so I have no need for a stereo.
Even with an awesome sytem like you have I suspect I won't hear it over the Corsa's anyway.
If I am taking a long trip where I want to listen to music I will take the Callaway Corvette. The Viper sounds so nice I would...
Thank you Andrew. I knew I heard this back when the SRT10 was coming out. I thought it was pretty stupid for Dodge to let somebody buy the rights to the brand Viper.
Needless to say they are all still Vipers to us and everybody will continue to call them Vipers.
