I had no idea. So judging from what you saw in the vid likely my thermostat and waterpump are fine and its the fluid leaking from the power steering and causing the kooling fan to not operate that is causing my vehicle to overheat?

Thanks forthe responses my 710 cammed brother. On a happiernote I dynoed 556 rwhp with zero head work and just that cam. Funnything is she hit that number immediately after changeing the tune on the dyno and honestly with a few more miles n the car and the car and pcm tune learning eachother...

While the hardtop is a Viper SRT10 coupe

Got the crank pulley back on. Had to really torque the hell out of it. 250 ft lbs is no joke. Also found a massive leak coming from my power steering. As well i suspect my roeracing 170 degree thermostat is bad or the waterpump went as the koolant temp is...
I made a list years ago with about 60 stock gen3 dynoes.
The average was 442 rwhp out of 60.
The lowest was 418 and the highest was 460

This is the lightweight underdrive crank pully from parts wharehouse. Still have the stocker but would prefer to leave this on

In pictures the gts is much more photogenic than the srt. But in real life the srt looks much more low slung and wider than the gts. As...
Bout time..
Viper jumped from 50k in 92 to 79k in 99.... Then 83k in 03 and 87k in 06. Then 91k in 08 and as high as 106k in 10 depending on options.
We now live ina world where a fully optioned z07 package z06 is 98k.
Viper has only gotten slightly more expensive in the past 10 years...

I know what you mean Speedfreak. Mines at 3200 ish pounds as well. So perhaps being 200 pounds lighter plus the trq advantage and a 128 mph...
Told my story many times but here goes.
I had a brand new 04 vette. Decided i wanted a 06 z06 and put my name on a waiting list to get one for for 67k.
Told it would be 07 before I got one.
So in the middle of 06 i drove by the dealer and they had a 06z06 and a 99 viper side by side...

Man an 11.3 at 123.5 is still really good.
The gen4s are 50 pounds heavier and seem to average 550 rwhp and 520 rwt...
Id die at 18 in a viper. Nearly did it at 26 in a viper. In my 30s now and know how to respect the car. I attended driving classes at 24. Driving calsses or not theres little that can prepare you for the vipers torque.
