52k base price verses 102k base price. Why do people even try and act like vettes and vipers are in the same class. There is a HUGE differance in ownership betweeen the two cars. Sure you could but a fully optioned z06 carbon at 100k that matches the price of a base viper. I get that. You can...- Twister

I think free2go and Gonnabite came up with some really good stuff. I'd say the z06 is a hot asian women. A solid 8. Cant argue with that because I've been with them all my life. As hot as my Japanese..Korean..Vietnamese ect women have been. Really a hot asian women is a dime a dozen and plenty...- Twister

Its not personal opinion on looks lol. My yellow gen 3 @my buddies yellow c6z were very close in looks. If the z06 was a 7.8 the viper was an 8.5. However like you said that is very subjective. What isnt subjective is that fact that here in hawaii you are lucky to see one viper a year whereas...- Twister

Gonnabite. This is a huge part of car ownership. I've been the guy in a corvette parked between an bah viper and surpass. No one gives a crap about the vette. People would surround the other cars asking questions. But the vettes are invisible. This goes for the z06s as well. Say what you want...- Twister

Yes..That's just not fun at all. I've had auto cars that could run a certain number every time and then manual v ipers. Cutting my gen3s time from 12.2 @119 to 11.4 @ 126.... sure it took money for some modifications. But the practice and run after run and then finally doing everything right and...- Twister

To me all I've seen so far are specs. The zr1s 3350 pounds and 638 hp trumps 3450 pounds and 625hp. To me its almost like Gm decided...Hey were gonna basically give them a ZR1 for 85k and call it a Z06. Then some brilliant employee stated how people who paid 113k for zr1s might be...- Twister

All the reviews I saw had the viper even or a little faster than the zr1 straight line. From a roll on road courses they said it pulled harder than the zr1. As far as quarter mile times. Why would a 635 hp corvette at 3450 pounds be faster than a 640 hp viper at 3350 pounds manual to manual? Some of you are smoking crack. If the price is right were in for a fight. Dollar for dollar I'd take a hand built one off low production semi exotic v10 over a z06 any day of the week. But if a base z06 comes in at 80 k you'd be an idiot not to buy it imho- Twister
