Laure, Let me know what you find. I am going to get new shock as well. I would like stiffer springs and found a couple places that would make them and retain stock height (I dont want it any lower or higher)
probably the cheapest way to get good #'s is heads, cam, exhasut and a wet shot. It will cost less than $5K and you will be well over 600 Hp and around 800 ft lbs of torque
Re: Highly Modified Viper
not to hijack, but-you a stock gen2 fuel pump will not handle the fuel requirments for 800Hp. If you contnue to run at those levels you will have problems Various tuners have documentated this.
Re: Highly Modified Viper
yes you will need a fuel upgrade for anything over 700 Hp. The stock system in good for mid 600's but any hicup and you could damage the motor. 55# injectors should be easy to tune with a vec 2
can you elaborate on the throttle tip I know that you can not trim the fuel enough with a split second if you are running more than 45# injectors. I used both and the vec 2 is much more tunable. I do agree about waterproofing the box,
Re: Stripe masked on hood
Scrape then 600? You better be using a rear good clear and lots of it, You can take down 2 mils of paint with 600 in no time. If you have a good booth why go thru all that extra work? Hit it twice and block it out with 1200, then 2000 and buff. Unless you have...
Yep I am a PPG guy as well. I used them all and PPG seems to be the most consistant. I had a lot of color match issues with DuPont and the reps don't seem to care. I don't think Jay is actully spraying the car from his post. Stripes are a pain to do, do these have a "pinstipe" on either side...
probably the elite hood popped up when he hit a bump and blocked his view causing the accident... It is in Hawaii at a dealer only salvage auction. I have the high bid at $3000
expesnive test? takes about as long as a std compression test. You cant tell anything from those readings. If you are not getting blow by and pressurizing the cooling system then everything is probably ok anyway.
triple bypass is going to help, but meth will not help you driving in hot city traffic at 30mph, that is where these cars get hot. The 94 + cars had and expansion tank instead of a rad cap as well as better fans. It gave more capacity and the fans had more CFM of air flow. You may want to...
no it was not a twin turbo, nothing more than a gen 1 with headers and roller rockers I have the hot rad mag it was in. Car was way overrated. Only dynoed 370 RWHp JJames sold it to some sucker in CA for $100K!! It ended up at Scott shop for a while then disappeared.
Al does not have the same streanth per lb as steel. Unless you had an engineer design a frame with that in mind it will not last. I am calling [******] on this in a big way. Quit wasting our time and show pic or just go away.
umm no, A deposit is to hold the car, you inspect it BEFORE you bid not after. I do not return deposits, and if they use a credit card I dispute it, futher more I will sue for breach of contract if I lost other potenal sales.
