It was so awsome being at Mid oh. This past weekend, meeting the drivers and pit crew and watching them back in the game!!!
They ran well, finished the race and started the competition again, a victory for sure!!!

I was shocked how much debris gets sucked up in there.
I lower the hood and first make sure it's where I want it on both sides up by the windshield/doors. ( I believe the manual says to lower the hood from the center of the windshield, but I am only 5'4", so not possible for me!)
I then put my hands left and right, slightly above the Naca duct, and...

Dang, those are some hot temps!
I havn't heard if aftermarket radiators make a difference. Archer racing guys suggested I stay stock, make sure to take it out frquently and clean it, same with intake filter...

I run 70% distilled water, 30% coolant and 2 bottles of water wetter.
As someone else said too, change revs when you can, I pit at 235 temp too:(
I am sure you do this too, but I make sure to cool down the...
Railroad tracks, driveways, exiting parking lots, you name it-I gotta go at an angle and slooooow.
Speed bumps? I don't even try them anymore, ALMOST got stuck on one once and that was enough for me haha!
