    Unfortunately for me, I had friends with (relatively new) '66 and '67 Chevelle SS's. Great cars and fun to have now, but not my style anymore. The Viper is a combination of a high-end sports car, with the raw power of the old time muscle cars...like the Chevelles, Hemi's and 429 CobraJet Mustangs.

    Personally, I prefer the screws like in the 1:24's. Snap fit, for a bull like me, means unsnap it = break it! Just my history, even when I'm careful. I'm also not allowed in any shops or departments that sell crystal or fine dining dinnerwear. :D

    Agree, that's a beautiful Gen 2 and $33k is too low in my opinion...but then, I have a 98 RT with 7900 miles and I would hope my car would bring more than $33.

    The old tried and true method, throw it at the wall and the hood comes off....a few more throws and that should remove the doors and trunk. For the body, might take a few more with feeling, but I think that will help you dismantle it. I really do hope this was of some assitance...

    Well, as mentioned in other thread, paid for a 1:24 RT, never received it and never got a response to any of my emails. Ebay opened a case, gave the seller sufficient time to respond...which they didn't. Ebay Customer Service ruled in my favor and put my money back in the PayPal account...
