Im getting ready to do the Thermostat. Anyone know if you have to remove the intake manifold completely? Cause that Quick fuel disconnect looks like a bitch to get to..Also I can not locate the fuel pump relay/fuse to drain the fuel..It doesn't seem to be located in the main fuse box, unless it...
Im not anti GTS but In my uneducated opinion and that's all it is, I have no factual basis to back this up, But I think the 1st and 2nd gen RT10's will demand more money in the collector car scene down the road than your average GTS, only for the following reasons:
1) they embody what the viper...
In my opinion the auction scene is filled with rich guys looking to buy cars without doing any leg work. The car rolls up on the block, they see it, they buy it for an inflated price. To me the thrill of the buying process was the "hunt" and then the "negotiation"...I looked as quite a few and...

I will say this...The majority of Viper owners have DEEP pockets, and most specialist shops are WELL AWARE OF THAT and have been known to take full advantage of the situation...I however do not have deep pockets and do all my own work, and save money where I can without sacrificing too much...
I edited my response cause I just dont want to start drama that a few individuals cant live without..I also dont feel like being bullied by another sponsor/Viper specialist..
The OEM ones? I think its more of a heat cycle and dry rotting of the rubber that kills them. Keep in mind they are almost 20 year old rubber on some cars. You wouldn't trust 20 year old tires..
