find a local industrial coatings guy, i used 2-part 100% epoxy industrial coating on mine 9 yrs ago and floor is still in like new condtion. just make sure they use some sort of traction additive preferably glass beads
also use search feature numerous threads on this over the yrs(that will...
When switching from the stock in dash RBQ 6-cd changer to the RB1 navigation unit, does the nav radio then take advantage of the higher power amps that the viper has built in to our stock system(i think 325 total watts) and not just the built in RB1(60 ish watts)? Has anyone noticed that...
it is not a problem, the a/c sys is shut off/bypassed on WOT, it is designed that way. figuring that if you are at WOT you want all the power you have available from the engine. when normal operating when rps returns so does the a/c. completely normal
It was just a guy who had one on ebay, he does not have more, but do an ebay search "rb1 navigation" and you will see lots of them pop up. also make sure you pay with paypal so you are protected if it is not in the condition or working order the seller says here are the least expensive ones on...
just an fyi the Mopar ipod kit will only work with about 80% of the '08 cars not sure if this also applies to '09 i was given this info by the wizard himself.
And a big thanks to JonB @ PartsRack and the Chuck "the Viper Wizard" Tator they both passed on making a sale to me by refering me...
I got my RB1 and put it in myself(half hour job, very minimal tools) plug and play. I paid $420 including shipping from cali-mich with nav dvd and gps antanae(no manual but downloadable for free on the internet). the RB1 intergrates wonderfully with the Mopar ipod integration kit. A nice...
Well i got my RB1 and put it in myself(about half an hour start to finish) I ended up paying $420 on Ebay including shipping from Cali-Mich and unit seems to be working just fine. and works very well with the Mopar ipod intergration kit(though i still need to learn to work some of the functions...
my factory nav in my Trailblazler SS is a touchscreen unit, it will not play burned cds(i have to play them in the rear dvd entertainment system). The Mopar ipod intergration kit will allow you to access an ipod directly through your factory RB1 nav unit.
They can be aquired through...
I will let the details be known when i have the unit in my hands later this wk.. i do not think that the unit will work in a '99 i am pretty sure it will plug and play in '03-'09
sorry to resurect an old thread but where did you guys put the gps antanae on your install, i have heard that it will fit on top of the radio inside the dash?
yup pretty much plug and play. you need the rb1 nav head unit, the antanae(i think it can mount in the dash on top of head unit) and dvd nav disc. you lose the indash 6 cd changer. but gain Sirius sat radio capability. I dont care about losing the multi cd because i am really just getting it for...
I would like to buy an RB1 Navigation radio in good working condition and i am looking for a very good deal. Does anyone have one around they are not using and want to sell? Thanks in advance
yes i do realize that the VIN is rt there in the corner of the window. And i am not saying or do not know that someone on this board would use that information improperly. But i am saying that there is a potential with that information. ok maybe i am a little paranoid
fyi with a VIN and coperation from someone at a Dodge dealership or access to the Dodge database you can have keys cut to a car....
no one here would do that though.......
I generally respond:
"didn't your mother ever teach you it's not polite to ask questions like that !"
one car full of teenage guys then razzed their friend that asked the question, after that one even smacked the kid in the back of the head laughing his head off
