In my short time here I have noticed several trends all of which are great but there are a couple that curiosity is getting the best of me.
I see many owners with multiple cars, owners that have other cars on their wish list, and cars that are spoken highly of in context.
The recurring car I...
Not to hijack the thread, but those that use the Nitto Invo's... I have researched them but what is the real life mileage on these tires? Are you getting alot out of them for the price or do you get longer from the PS2's. I am also in the same boat
Invo (cheaper) vs PS2 (consensus says better...
There is a silver lining to this story i guess!!! You are right, the problem is it seems like it would probably take a good amount of money to get back to stock. Filling holes for the trunk, new paint job, stock wheels, because heaven knows you cant trade those wheels for anything. But yes...
They do have a 1" seat lowering kit on ebay http://www.ebay.com/itm/Dodge-Viper-SRT10-Seat-Lowering-Kit-1-Adjustable-NWE-1ASLK-/390349777976?pt=Motors_Car_Truck_Parts_Accessories&vxp=mtr&hash=item5ae2a8ec38#ht_2331wt_1396
Not sure how reputable it is, but its there in print.
I must say I have been and always will be a "to each his own" car because it is a reflection of what you like. What I am most curious about is what kind of rims they are. It is tough to find a 6 lug rim anything under $1k a wheel so I am hoping those rims were inexpensive.
Although I do not own a set, I think for $2500 brand new you would be making a wise decision. Not sure what type of coilover and/or ride suits your fancy but if you were considering them I wouldnt pass up that offer.
I wish my dealer would have offered that. I clearly did not go with that dealer. They weren't very interested in being a player in the competitive market place. I was able to pick a couple key fobs from a vendor and hopefully will have better luck programming these things since I dont have an...
It isnt surprising. I am also a "ahem" owner and I have one only because I enjoy(ed) the car. Many vette owners i have come in contact with believe Corvettes belong in museums and act as if. It's sad really, they dont understand respect and friendly competition.
side note: I am speaking for...
Many of the lips like this that i have seen usually come out a few inches from the front bumper to make it look like a true lip (See GTS-R Pic above). Did you prefer to just make it flush with the bumper or on this particular lip does it need to stay flush with the bottom of the bumper?
exactly my point. They are pretty expensive and I believe there are ones just as nice out there they are a fraction of the price. Although the Viper is aggressive by nature, I dont like a whole lot going on my front end (unless it is from the factory and looks from the factory). I like to keep...
Does anybody have this front lip installed? I'd like to see a better pic than what is on the site. Or if there is another vendor with a similar product, I would be interested. I have looked at the Euroteck front splitter too. I am just curious.... here is the link...
Fellas, I do not have a Key Fob for my viper and I called the dodge dealership just to get an idea of how much one would cost he told me $160 + 92$ to program it.... although I know a fob can be programmed without having another one present.
Can anybody (vendors included) have an idea where...
that actually is a great price.
Buyers will use everything they can to their advantage to drive a price lower. Since the car was in a minor accident KBB tells a buyer that puts the car automatically in "fair" condition. The fact that you still got that much is refreshing.
