    White hood vent enhancement

I just realized how inappropriate this thread really is. C'mon guys, we are totally underestimating Dave. This ridicule should stop. After all, we know Dave as the splitter maker, seat upholsterer, and beer drinker... would he really put "stickers" on his car? Oh... uh, well anyway, would he...

    ACR PURCHASE

The extra cash would pay for tires, gas, upgrades (because nobody leaves it alone) and frankly, the cheaper it is, the more you will use it.

My garage is possessed. Waiting for car to explode next.

Ooops. I don't get this. Prism with red. Dark side (666... +6). Moonlight is the sun's reflection. All seems to fit. Dave, another poster commented that there are similar marks on the back of the seats. Perhaps a 300W shop light, at night and moved around behind the car, would give you...

    Remove tires for the winter?

There was a reply on another thread that ozone or something else you didn't want to come in contact with the tires would permeate through the plastic bags anyway. FWIW, I put my extra tires in plastic bags to keep them cleaner and keep critters out, then under the deck outside where they are...

anyone drive their viper in winter weather?

My ears were ringing. I would not knowingly take the car out with snow on the ground, but have been caught a few times when it started snowing. I drive one gear up in the rain, and two gears up in the snow/slush worked OK. The secret seems to be not stopping; keep some momentum. Plus, my...

    Top Question

I have a '94 soft top available and looking to get rid of it; good shape and will send pictures if interested. Of course, everybody knows the early curtain window cars had a different top than the roll-up window cars, nobody would make that mistake...

Vin number on Viper im buying wont show up at credit union

I can use it for whatever I want, but the rate is variable. My primary mortgage is small because I'm old and bought the house 100 years ago. The only gotcha with this HELC is that I got it when the credit union first started lending them and this version has a 1.4% of the outstanding...

    Remove tires for the winter?

Heat accelerates oxidation and further vulcanization, so the tire ages more. Same as when you drive it; the heat (cycles) make the rubber harder.

    Right Rear brake Overdusting

I can help with duh old calipers... ;) The obvious is if the pistons are not retracting and pads are slightly dragging. Use pliers or the piston tool to rotate the piston clockwise, pushing at the same time, to reseat the piston. The less obvious is if the caliper is not floating and...

    Right Rear brake Overdusting

Can you describe the Wilwoods, particularly what is the parking brake now? Do you have the stock suspension (no adjustable shocks or ride height change?) PS The proportioning valve is really a pressure limiting valve and does not affect the front brakes at all. It only limits the maximum rear...

Help needed with installing a rear brake line prroportioning Valve

Some minor comments: If you can buy the same diameter steel brake line as on the car, do so and cut one end off. Practice making the flare. Sacrifice it to learn and get comfortable with doing it. Use a magnet to see if the brass is brass or not.

    gen1 side window question

Thank you! Any chance you have a picture from inside of the underside of the roof where the plastic wing would reside when the door is closed? This will become the difficult-to-seal spot with my windows/roof.
