Alright, here are the details I've got. Ron wants to do a BBQ and UFC at his house for 6ish tomorrow. Still waiting on his address but it is just east of Edmonton on HWY 14. Couldn't tell you how many Vipers are coming, but it doesn't sound like a whole lot can make it.
Hey no problem sharky, I completely understand. I have been trying for a couple weeks to squeeze some info out of Ron. I will post up here by 5pm (Mountain Time) today with some info (hopefully).
Ron hasn't provided a specific time yet as he was waiting to see if anyone from out of town would be coming. I'll talk to him and see what time he had in mind.
The Edmonton Viper owners are having a BBQ and cruise night on September 21. This is an open invitation to any Viper owners who would like join us for possibly the last time before the snow hits. Red Deer/Calgary owners, if you're sitting at home on September 21 and wondering what you should do...
True on the speeding ticket, I don't need any more of those:) My biggest fear with tracking the Viper is the oil starvation issue that people have had with the gen 3 during cornering. If I had a gen 4 oil pickup I would be all over that.
What time does he have it rented for? I know a bunch of my buddies are racing the same day at 5pm, and if I get my ECU back in time I will be joining them.
Anyone planning on going to the Nelson, BC Car show this year. It is on Saturday, September 7. I had such a good time last year and figured if other people were going I would make the trip down as well.
Alright, I have booked my rooms at both hotels, and am now just waiting till Tuesday to see if I can get the time off, which I don't think will be an issue. (famous last words) Hey Viktimize, which Hotel are you staying in Kelowna?
I haven't seen one yet either. A couple months ago I went to Sherwood Park Dodge to see when they were getting them in. They told me that the first 2 vipers they get are already sold to their Salesman and Sales Manager. The best part is that those first 2 vipers were supposedly sent directly to...
You can also check out Viper Parts of America, they have a couple sets of tires that they already include shipping and duties to Canada in the price. Too bad they don't have Venom pricing on tires.
Ya, not one of my happier moments. Hopefully this summer I will take it back on that stretch of road, just to say I can do it without spinning out. I can't let the mountain win this battle.
