Starting Big Brake Install, I have questions

On my GTS, I wrapped the brake lines in rubber hose that I slit lengthwise to get it on. Then secured with small screw-on radiator-type clamps. The heaviest duty zip ties lasted about a day.

RED Viper stops Russian fighter jet and captures crew!!! (pics)

My bad. It is a Mi-24, not a MiG-24. NATO name Hind. This is the gunship made famous in the Russian-Afghanistan war and countless Rambo-type movies. I recall during the Afghani conflict when the cold war was high and Reagan was hot, that Soldier of Fortune magazine was offering a $1,000,000...

MiG-24 to the right in one pic. You can tell by the distinctive nose.

There is a MiG in the picture if you look closely. Here's a clue: it's not a fighter.

ACR front splitter question - 56k warning

I understand and agree there would not be a lot of call for downforce at straight-line high speeds. But there IS still downforce on the rear, and it goes up the faster you go. My comment was about this being unopposed downforce, which seems like a bad idea. 1200+ pounds on the rear only is...

ACR front splitter question - 56k warning

Cool pics. Looks like you are getting this on the front edge, not as a function of turn in, i.e., outer edges of rub strip? Also, are you using the smooth track setting, which is lower than mine?

ACR front splitter question - 56k warning

I like this answer, up to a point. All the pics I have are on the gas. Any on the brakes either don't show the splitter well enough to determine angle of attack, or are from the rear quarter. If this is correct, and downforce on the front changes based on gas/brake, then the rear wing makes...

ACR front splitter question - 56k warning

Thanks, that was the other reason for posting :D I don't think that's why the splitter looks like this. The splitter is held "up" by two cables (you can see them behind the grill in the pics, but you can't tell if they are taught, of course). The cables allow the splitter to "ride up" a little...
