    Hope everyone enjoyed the Autocross!

    Cause I hate to admit it, but here was my morning: Get up/shower/etc. to attend my second autocross. Get on the road at about 6:35am and am making good time. At least so I thought. Start seeing signs for the bypass around Peoria...... CRAP!!!! I'm headed to Pontiac!!!! No way I'll make it...

    Nah, I didn't tug on any others since I'm not having any other issues at the moment (except for the clicking sound). And I really didn't feel like doing any more than I did. The ones I had to deal with were so close to the chassis that one slip with the wire trimmers and I'd end up replacing...

    Yep, used shrinkdown hose over the new splices, as well as a little tape just to make sure. Figured out what one of the 'other' wires was - was the 'door ajar' notification. Never saw it light up before, but sure noticed it now (always worked fine on the passenger side).

    Will do the search right now. I figured the 'click click' was wires making contact, but since it does this with power off, I know it isn't the speaker wires. Probably power going to the door lock or something of the sort.

    Thanks for the plug! ;) Two other options. There are lots of solid yellow RT/10's out there, and I'm sure the kids won't remember if it is coupe or not after they leave (plus it looks closer than that GTS-R). Or get yourself a can of spray paint and make them yourself! :rolaugh:

    Dubuque yes, VOI nope. Since my kids are so young, they couldn't attend anything and Nicole had no interest in a plant tour (nor the price since she won't be driving). Plus, my lift just got delivered and garage door is done, so now to get it assembled!

    Well, as you know my name is "Scott" too! In Iowa, they put your county name on the plate, but I get that asked all the time: "How did you get your name on the plate?!" My last name is "Brady", and ironically the main street through Davenport is Brady Street. Guess this will be my new home...

    Never owned personalized plates before, but since they're cheap in Iowa (only $25 to start and $5/year maintenance) I had to spring for them! Had a number of choices, but this is what I ended up with! My own personal ode to the sheer power (and responsibility) that comes with this monster!
