These two replys are related. Yes, 5 hours to drive back. Since in Indiana the plates stay with the seller, and I was buying from a private seller, I had no plates on the car for the trip. So....I didn't want to give our lovely  Illinois Highway Patrol any reason at all! I did carry a...
Before I start....
VCA membership bought and paid for! Waiting on the member number before the avatar is updated!
Only one photo due to weather - more when I get the car washed and the sun comes out.
Sapphire Blue is the fastest color. :rolaugh:Now that those are out of the way, here's my story...
Just picked up my first Viper ('01 Blue w/silver GTS) yesterday and joined the VCA this morning! Since they don't "handle the internet stuff" at the 800 number, they suggested contact here to have avatar/etc. updated!
!!!!! Can you tell I'm excited?!?!?!!!!
Before I call around locally, I'm curious if there are any sponsors here that offer the Revolution Lift. Would prefer to support a site sponsor!
Additionally, how difficult are they to self-install? I see threads about having installers back out to make minor adjustments in the first 6 months...
Would like to talk with someone from this region, as I'm about to make an offer on a car in your area and the seller is a member of your chapter (albeit he admits he's not very active). Would someone be so kind to PM me?
Mods - feel free to move this post to their regional forum, since I'm not...
No call back from the dealer, and you guys provided the information I was looking for (questionable history along with an opinion from Chuck Tator). What is it with dealers not returning calls?!?!! (this is the second one - Premier never returned a call or emails...)
Waiting on a call back from the dealer, but thought I'd ask here in the meantime. Is anyone familiar with this car?

Or is anyone close by to check it out? Thanks in advance!

I'm going to ruin this for you! I applaud it (and realized what it said right away), but my wife just asked, "What does 'One Festive Ten' mean?". D'oh!
Different brands of CDR's can make a big difference on readability/compatibility. Same goes for DVDr's. I have had good luck with Memorex, and horrible experiences with Verbatim. It seems to be all about finding what works best with your burner and reader (in this case, the car's system).
A 5th color in the series per a new Hot Wheels announcement:

The Vipers (both Treasure Hunt and Super Treasure Hunt) are out now, and are not exclusive to KMart. It just so happened that the cases they got for KMart Days was the series that the Viper was in, that's why so many.
You should be able to pick up the regular hunt for around $5-6 shipped and...
Miles are fine with me - still under warranty, so all is good. Just feel better if someone here knows a bit about it. 18,000 miles done 1/4 at a time at Pomona are much different than 18,000 sitting in gridlock on the 10!
After seeing another 06 coupe sell for under 60k yesterday, thought I'd take a look at what else might be out there. Happened across this auction:
eBay Motors: Dodge : Viper (item 230223513786 end time Feb-25-08 18:48:03 PST)
Lots of miles for an 06, but since it's LA area, I'm sure they're...
At least they moved it inside before the ice/snow storm passes through. One wheel shot, probably the best rotor of the four.
I've been in the market for a Viper lately as a 40th birthday present to myself, and really have come to the realization that for peace of mind I'll need to contract...
No idea exactly when, but yes, this is the first Dub City Viper! They announced their 1:24 scale "Big Time Muscle" 2008 Vipers a month or two ago:

And Eric forgot to mention....

Hehe, sorry about that! I was sooo tempted to pick it up too, but didn't want to start on another scale (at least until the 1:1 scale is in the garage)!
Here are photos of all 3 issued since last year (all three wheel variations). From my experience, the first one is the most common, followed by the chrome and then the closed 5sp (2nd issue) being the toughest.
