1992 Viper – did any come with polished or chrome wheels?

No. Nothing but painted wheels. In 1995 wheel color was changed to a more "silver" appearance.

    Introducing a NEW Moderator

Great move. Glad to see he is/has taken over handling the IVR. I've always felt that two clubs competing for the same demographic, would present major problems. Hopefully Jeff will be able to direct some of the emphasis on the history and the preservation aspects of these great cars and...

    VCA Hellcat Raffle

The I don't know how you double the odds. If you pay $100.00 for a ticket, and 3000 are sold, the odds are same as paying $200.00 for one of $1500.00 sold. A $200.00 investment in either scenario would result in 1500 to 1 odds. Also a sell out brings in $300,000.00 at a minumum, and the...

96 GTS out of Wellborn collection up for auction will set the market

Tough call. If you buy it back you have both buyer and seller fees plus both coming and going expenses. At least BJ makes something on the car when seller buys it back. BJ makes nothing on a reserved car if it doesn't sell. The NR sellers are really "market testers".

    Last 300 side exhaust

Not sure the VINs were sequential. The MDH number would probably be more reliable.

96 GTS out of Wellborn collection up for auction will set the market

A 20 year old Viper (96 GTS) sold for @110% of MSRP. I have sold 18 year old Corvettes for 9-10 times MSRP. Viper has a long way to go.

    getting a 95 rt/10

Actually 3083 94's, and 1577 95's. 94 production was highest yet for any Viper.

    getting a 95 rt/10

Sounds like a pretty realistic price. Hardtop included. Do a carfax. Hopefully you will insist on driving the car before buying. Does it have A/C? What's the VIN? Is it one of the last 300 side pixie cars? Where are you located? It shouldn't be to hard to find a Viper guy to take a look...

    Floor mats

They certainly are rare, but only time will tell if they are desireable and command a premium. To me, not so much. Why is that combination desireable?
  24. GRANGER73

    Floor mats

The examples you mention sold for big bucks NOT because of the color combo, but IN SPITE of it. Hopefully in 30 years we will know. Good discussion. I guess we'll just have to agree to disagree. Rick

    Floor mats

The split window is FAR from being one of the most collectible Corvettes. Its hardly in the top half. Also there weren't 20,000+ split window coupes made. That was total 63 production. For future referance, it's not double the GEN1 production, it's almost quadruple the 92-96 production...
