    Are 3 peice wheels prone to leaking? I have HRE's ---

    First thing I would do is get a spray bottle with a mix of liquid dish soap and water, spray it all over the tire & wheel and look for bubbles, could be the valve too so take the cap off also..

    Heya PL.. just a friendly note and enjoy reading your comments, personally I think it'll be fine, the rear lip is outboard and a bit high from gravel being kicked-up from the tire. Ice / snow requirements are typically exempt or ignored for this type of warm climate sports car in production...

    Also check the adjustment overslam bumpers, latch, striker, back then mine was acting up, one latch side was jammed.. never had a problem since. The pic links in the post below are outdated / obsolete, but there's a link to a PDF at the top with the pics if it helps...

    I was a little worried about that, but I just measured my knob, it's about 6 inches long from the tip to the base and I'm ok with that because there's a bunch of guys here with much shorter knobs.

    Rear hatch unglued on my GTS, again!

    I've designed lots of bonded stuff, and one thing to note is maintaining a thickness of the adhesive in a bonded joint.     Almost crashed tonight...

    6 years ago or so I had a panic stop from around 30 - 40 mph, smoked the front tires when locking them up for about 15 to 20 feet on concrete.. immediately felt the thump thump thump driving afterwards... felt like driving over gaps on an interstate highway. Depth difference at the flat part...
