I have two big bins of old detailing products I've tried over the years. In the bins are Pinnacle, Zaino, Zymol, etc.
I bought a detail kit about 6 years ago from Adam at a local show and have been using his products since. We ended up buying so much product, he called me up and told me I...
I'll throw up an old Daily Special, just for you! Buy a quality brush if you're doing it, so you don't tear up any of the underside paint or parts.

Sounds like you need to get out to this:

We will have an entire station dedicated to car washing.
Do you plan to clean it while on a lift or on the ground? You can simply pressure wash the underside on the ground. If you're on a lift, you need to work a little cleaner. I recommend APC, like Carmen said.
I assume the stipes are paint. If so, treat as normal paint. I would start with a stipping wash, as noted above. I throw 1 oz Adam's All Purpose Cleaner in my soap bucket. That tends to strip real well while having the high lubricating properties of the Adam's Car Shampoo.
Also, you...
I haven't used Griots in a long time, but yes, a more aggressive polish will remove deaper scratches. You will need to follow up with 2 and 3 if you use 1.
You made the right decision by starting with the least aggressive polish. You can always go more aggressive.
BTW, we're holding a...
They held a smaller clinic earlier this month in Ohio. It was the first one ever in Ohio. It was not nearly to the extent this clinic will be. The next, closest event will be Spring Carlisle, next year! People came from as far as South Carolina and Maine to attend our last event.
Nice results! I do recommend saving those cheap microfibers for engine bays and door jams. One of the reasons you are probably still seeing swirl marks is you have caused swirls too deep for the PC to remove. Buy some quality microfiber!
We have the post in the VCA Events, but it's not getting enough attention. Last event we had a good showing of Vipers, regardless of the monsoon that hit.
There are a bunch of guys on the Viper forum who could learn a ton from this clinic...
The owner of the place is trying to plan the lunch and would like to start getting a head count of how many people are attending. If you plan to attend, please add your name so we can have enough food for everyone.
Thanks, see ya there!
Note on clay:
There is a patent on clay and it is all made by one company. So, no matter where you buy the clay, it's all made by the same person. The patent ends this year!!
There are different grades of clay, and tend to be used for different purposes. Adam's sells the grey clay...
The Adam's Clay is a little more expensive, but it is 200g, most other companies sell 100g bars.
We sell the Adam's Clay on our site. Use "SRT" in the Promo Code box when checking out for a 10% discount!

If you don't feel like driving to TN, swing by this event. It would be good to have a large showing of Vipers again! We are looking for demo cars now!:
And sign up on the list:

This event is turning out to be huge! We have over 100 people committed to coming so far! If you plan to come, copy the list and add your name. The next door neighbor has two Vipers and plans to attend! Let's see how many Vipers we can get to show up!

The last two clinics have had excellent turnouts, despite the weather! This fall we are going to sneak in one last get together, hopefully before it's time to put the snakes asleep. If you're anywhere near Pennsylvania, make sure to make it out to this event. The word is spreading quickly and...
