I raced a Honda S2000 for 3 years and the pedals are perfect for heal and toe whether in street shoes or track shoes.....
in my 2009 ACR, either the pedals are too close or the fact that I bump my knee into the wheel.....I even moved the tilt part all the way up and I still hit it.
I have not...
has anyone posted a C7 Corvette time around the ring? it has to be pretty good!
I haven't seen a 2013 TA Viper time for the ring yet either. it should also be pretty good.
if you parked "a little over the line" then you did take up two spots..... dick move on your part.... doesn't matter how expensive the car.... I take pics of "Parking tools" like you all the time.... this is what the guy should have done..... LOL....
11.4 is a pretty awesome time for stock.... what mods do you have.... I see your last post "not stock".... I ran 11.9@124mph at Maple Grove earlier this year but could only get down to a 2.1ish 60' time...
I was banging the rev limiter in 3rd through the traps...
pretty much what everyone above said... I have an 09 ACR that I bought new... swapping to NITTO NT's vs the Sport Cups was a huge improvement.... I had it aligned and adjusted to soft when I first got it and like people said above, it pogo'd like crazy.... So I adjusted myself to fairly stiff...
And for that reason I have no great desire to track my ACR (unless I get track day specific insurance)...... I raced with NASA in Honda Challenge for 3 years but that was in a 250hp zero torque Honda S2000....(it is about 4 seconds slower at NJMP than a stock ACR Viper) a throw away car compared...
Similar... I have raced wheel to wheel probably 50 races in a Honda S2000.... my 2009 ACR had about 2k miles... almost same scenario... 40F morning... start out at a stoplight making a left, 100yard later I am looped around looking like a complete tool... luckily I hit nothing but exact same as...
I went with the NITTO NT-5's (I think that is the model) and they are a dream compared to the original Cup tires that came on my 09 ACR. somehow I got almost 8k miles out of the cups but on a 40F morning I looped it in traffic going around a turn... luckily hitting no one and nothing..... the...
I am with you.... I used to race a Honda S2000 with NASA.... we went to watch the races last month and the first S2000 blew a rod through the block, second S2000 hit the oil, slid sideways and rolled and the 3rd S2000 then hit the destroyed rolling S2000...... Despite none of that ever happening...
i at least found the Ramada Inn, near Walmart... I never go that way or pay attention if I do. Are you guys meeting for desert anywhere or just dinner?
Where is the Ramada Inn Mechanicsburg? you would think after living here for 20 years I would know. This area is huge for the chain restaurants to have long waits on the weekends despite there being an olive garden, applebees, tgifridays, carrabas, outback all within a few miles....
do you...
i will be taking advantage of my free day from SRT for buying new viper... :)
black with red drivers stripe... i am taking the viper there but you drive their cars...
i finally got the tires on my ACR today.... i only drove 10-15 miles but they definately have a more pleasant ride.... it was about 60F here and they hooked up pretty well even in 1st gear.... thumbs up from me so far for the NT05's!

We could not find anywhere with no people or traffic other than one back road.... the Throttle got stuck at some point just as my passenger hit the video button. ;)
I stayed long enough to see the viper guys roll in but left soon after. My A.D.D. caused me to leave fairly early. Somehow originally i got put in the Fiero section but moved next to a corvette and older viper.
