The Cam in Cam is fully functional. We will have it back on the dyno later in the week to setup the E85 tune. In the meantime, I will find one of the 4th gear graphs that show a bunch of wheel spin too.
We can tune and adjust boost levels for any target number out clients want. This car was making 1260-1270 HP pulls in 4th.
Install time for a similar project is 6-8 weeks from the time the car arrives. We currently have a fully built Gen 4 engine in stock if anyone is wanting a similar build.
It is tire spin. The turbos hit extremely hard, but on the street with the race quality traction control the car handles well. Watch for more videos of this car soon.
If you are only running a single Walbro 255, I would say that you are most likely found the limit of you fuel setup. Typically a 255 is good to about 600rwhp, but would be less on a S/C car.
We had a Motec system working on the Gen 4 in 2008 and a car that made over 1700HP running in 2009. This car is running an Pectel EMS with our proprietary firmware that we developed for the Gen 4 and 5 platforms. This system give us the ability to complete these projects at a much lower cost...
You are right! Even with drag radials we couldn't get it to hook on the dyno. The turbos hit really hard! We should have the car reassembled and on the street in a few days for some more videos and full traction control tuning!
This is a fairly common issue and seems to be where the filler neck connects to the tank. This is a simple cut and reinstall with the OEM replacement panel. We created a cut template to speed up the process and will normally run $1700 including the cost of a used tank from Paul Scharf.
I don't think you are going to find the safety level you want for your stock engine by running E85. We see engines that simply cannot handle the added cylinder pressure. You would be better served by spending the extra money on a rod and piston upgrade rather than trying to run an E85 setup...
