Does it have a tune on it? If so, can you reload it in case it has been slightly corrupted? I run on an AEM that has been tuned on a dyno. If I lose power, the program never seems to come back all the way, so I reload it and all is well.
I'm sure there Is considerable debate about this, but I do remember reading about standard thermal header wrap NOT being a good Idea for the sills. I'm not sure why since In theory the wrap should keep a lot of the heat from escaping to the sills but I have definitely read about Issues with...
Hey Doug! is the #86 pin in the new (to be modified) relay or in the car? I used one from another GTS but it too has failed so I'm gonna go get a few of em and modify them as you recommend.
I have had the experience that the tech forgot to even put the pilot bearing in. Its a decent assumption but not always correct. Hopefully that's not your issue
Unfortunate for all of us Viper fans, but as a business decision - perhaps not an unwise one. Likely the majority of Dodge's retail customers interested in road course racing are in the Viper and Challenger product lines. A very narrow slice of all that is Dodge, so win on sunday sell on...
Thanks. I've always wondered about that. I've been aware of the last part but didn't know about the fuel/timing changes. Mine doesn't seem to run very well with it in.....but that's probably because the ECU "tune" is for a stock motor and mine is a heads/cam car that likely has different needs.
The MOPAR Performance ECU is useful for a number of things for which it was not really intended. What was it primarily designed to do, does anyone know?
They'll be along shortly I'm guessing.
I run Hoosier R6's (A6's if I do time trials). I didn't build the car, we just sorted it out. It was built in 1998 to support a second place national finish in SCCA in 2000, and it had been sitting ever since. All the rubber and hoses had to be...
Thanks for the pix of the blown vette.....not to hijack the thread (but I will since you seem to have the answer you sought) but that looks like a TON of carb for a small block. Did you through something bigger underneath that intake? ;-)
Thank you by the way, I'm way too old to be really fast but its a lot of fun.
This a favorite, the two cars up the hill at Watkins Glen (too bad my brother is faster)
Nothin special, just a practice TT session with NARRA. I think these are 1:34 laps, not proud of that but it was a nice sunny day and the camera worked ;-)

I don't know of a kit or anything like that but would think you could clean out the drain hole with a medium gauge wire so it would drain. I have a few GTSs (no RT/10's) and the gas cap well drain does not go Into the tank.....that seems very odd Indeed. Sorry to not be more helpful.
Not sure about the "dye" Idea, the ones I've seen are "reupholstered" (sp?) and not simply color changed. I do not think you'll ever get a dye to change the color of our black seats.
Additionally, the logos I've seen seem to be custom embroidered (onto the new leather while its flat) and not a...
It could also be a function of how expensive they are to repair (or at least used to be expensive to repair)....even minor car-meets-stop-sign problems ended up being reported because Insurance money was required for the fix. I'm just speculating here but It seems reasonable.....the street GTS...
