    Trailering

    I use the same t hooks, you can get ratchet straps with snap hooks to attach to them to make it easy. The oval holes on the frame are at a 45 degree angle to accommodate them.

    The one drawback to aggressive brake pads is they can sometimes squeal bad during regular street driving. As long as you can live with that, you will love how hard the mintax or brakeman bite

    They did a nice job with the C7. It looks good from every angle except that rear, Im not sure about it, it just doesnt look like it belongs on that car. Maybe it will look better seeing it in person. All in all good styling the Vette community should be happy with it. Great platform to build...

    Awesome tracks I have never had the privilege to drive. With brake fade if the pedal gets soft and goes to the floor it is the brake fluid that is not durable enough and probably boiling. If the pedal is hard but doesn't stop the car it is probably the pads not handling the heat.

    Yea they did the same thing in 2005 and copied a lot of the styling, how pathetic. Well, they are awesome sports cars regardless, the c7 should have great performance.

    What would you like to see in the ACR?

    Perhaps srt will continue with the format of three options acr, acr-hardcore, and acrX. Many ideas above can be used as option packages to go from track car, stripped down dedicated track car, and full-on race car.

    Low Profile Car Jack

    Anybody have any good pics of where on the frame rails the jack stands can go safely? Also, how do most people go about getting it on 4 stands? Do you jack one side at a time? Thanks, good info on this thread

    Battery dies on Gen 4, recommendations?

    If the battery is disconnected or goes dead it will not pass inspection. The obd2 sensors need to go through drive cycles to reset them. Basically you will have to drive the car a couple times before inspection

    A good person to ask is Mark from Woodhouse. I use his specs and they work great My opinion, if you are daily driving and still wearing out the outside from a few track days you can go a bit more aggressive.
