my 2008 put down 546/510 stock....

130 MPH traps wasn't typical for the Gen 4 and won't be for the Gen 5 either.... it will happen for sure, just requires good weather and driver...
negative, 3 seconds is not long enough for those tires..... we tried shorter burnouts earlier in the day as well as no burnout, and the car wouldn't hook.... there is NO way your walking out the GEN V (even slipping the clutch) and running anywhere near the 10's, it needs another 100 pounds...
road course times are even harder to compare, the McLaren would easily hang with the Viper with equivalent tires.... tires, conditions and driver capabilities are HUGE factors on a road course....
I agree, and it doesn't have to be AWD to do well off the line, my McLaren does 0-60 MPH in 2.8 seconds on the street..... DCT, LC, Mid-Engine, and good tires!

nah, every magazine I see has 0-60 and 1/4 mile data.... still very relevant.... today it's about all around performance, not just what some pro driver can do around a road course... Viper owners like to say it's all about the track because that's where the car excels...
I've had 3 GT-R's, 2009, 2012 and 2013...
my stock 2013 GT-R ran 0-60 MPH in 2.7 and 10.8 @ 125 MPH in the 1/4 mile.... after a tune and mid-pipe (20 minutes to install) it ran 10.5 @ 130 MPH..... some more bolt-ons and you can go 10 flat @ 136 MPH.... they are very fast and durable...
I guess you didn't watch the video, which showed the Viper leaving all out 5.5K+ RPM, and dead hooking after that burnout..... a 3 second burnout is all that's needed to get the tires hot??? who's bananas? Let's see those mid 10's ACR passes of yours....
that might work in California, but not DAVIE!
we ran the turbo S three times, none were in the left lane?? BTW, I'll get those videos up today....
When does Ray's Gen V come in? We know he'll be at the track with it, no show n shine only for Ray... :)
When these start hitting the dyno, you'll see the Gen 5 doesn't make much more power than the Gen 4, around 10-15HP....
hopefully someone can do a same day dyno between the two to really see...

less stress on the clutch and drivetrain (less chance of hopping) doing a burnout in the water, let the car roll out towards the end to get the water off and feel the tires bite, tires were plenty hot and the car was hooking just fine...
yes, the tire on the car is taller than stock, making the gearing even longer and more difficult to come out hard and keep the bog away.... the car is bogging down after the 60'..
we have a 26" set of hoosier radials ready to go would will be MUCH better, considerbly dropping the gearing...
yea, residual is questionable, I don't think it will lose more than the equivalent BMW/MB car during the time I'll have it, certainly won't be 8 years.... The only car I've had 8 years was my Viper GTS and that needed the engine rebuilt during that time....
I think they offer a prepaid battery...
thanks, so far so good, I'm a tech buff so I really like the 17" multi-touch screen combined with the all digital gauge cluster lets you customize everything just the way you want. Tesla can and does send out updates to the car so you can continually receive enhancements, new apps, radio...
I'm at the track frequently, you challenged a 2013 GT-R and subsequently got your foot stuck so far up your mouth you don't know what to do now aside from reverting to writing and content...
