Just bought a 1996 blue and white but it did not come with a owners manual and whatever else original documentation. Also missing the passenger side foglight cover and I only have one key. I would like an original style key if possible.
Just bought a 96 blue/white! It has a few things that need service. The biggest would probably be the rear pinion seal. Can I trust any local mechanics?
FYI. We worked it out! Morgon at Tomball Dodge did the inspection. I was very impressed!
There was a diff leak-rear pinion seal, and an oil leak - rubber pcv grommet. Other than that he said it seemed like a solid car. He did recommend changing the brake and clutch fluid. The owner was right...
1st, Looked like it had been repainted and not very well. Big tach bolted to the dash. Holes in the back from where a wing used to be. Holes in the seats. Really really dirty. Caught me by surprise because of how low mileage it was. The car was advertised as near mint with just the bumper...
Well he wasn't aware of the accident. I think that's why I came down on the price. I think it's more that it's an hr drive one way. He text me an apology so we are good. I don't think he is gonna let someone else take his car over there. I might try and talk him into it again a little layer...
I did have a local viper owner look at it. He gave it a 8/10. Paint was good. Very few swirls. Tires were out of date. Stone chip in windshield. Small tear in drivers seat. Engine bay was dirty. Looked like aftermarket door speakers. Hood seemed to have good alignment and stay upright. Overall...
Thanks everybody. He said he wants $35,000. Its a tough decision as I want to make the best deal I can.
I want a 96 b/w. So I guess the question is can I do better for around the same price?
There is one on autotrader for $32,500 but it has 55,000 miles.
I see a lot in the low $40's for low...
I am looking to purchase a 1996 b/w. This one has 36,000 miles.
I just did the carfax (looks like one minor accident):
Also here is some questions that I emailed him:
Ok can I get a few more details about the condition of the car? Sorry I'm just very picky on that stuff. Is the paint mint...
I appreciate all the offers to help! Seems to be a lot of really great people on the forum. It doesn't look like this was the car for me so I will keep looking. I'm looking forward to joining the club!
Been looking to buy my 1st. Anybody in the area who could check one out for me? Sorry would have posted in the regional forums but don't have permission. Thanks
