I personally think before the Viper starts upping the power, they should start upgrading the brakes. They have been behind the pack in braking since the beginning.
maybe ill have to wait for heads/intake mods after the supercharger down the road to beat him. What about the Novi2000 vs 2500 on an otherwise stock forged motor. Anyone try both out?
Kind of a tangent from the end of my other thread. My goal is to make enough power to pull away from pesky bolt-on GTR's on the highway when necessary. I know they trap in the 136-139 mph range in the 1/4. I know everyone on here will say just get twin turbo's, but I do not want to spend 20k...
BTW, has anyone made near 700 rwhp on pump gas on a stock motor with a paxton and headers? I hear about this Novi 2500, but haven't thoroughly researched it. There are pesky GTR's in the area that I think have trap speeds in the 136-138 mph range. I know it will take about that kind of power...
I think im sold on going catless. I don't want any potential for a fire, i plan on keeping this car for a long time. Plus I didnt even think about if I wanted to run leaded fuel on a good tune
I use to want to keep the miles down on mine, but i say the hell with that. Can't take a low mileage car with you to the grave. Drive the car the way it was meant to be driven!
I have to make the decision now whether i should go with high flow vs no cats. Right now, i just have a cat back and smooth tubes. I will be supercharged hopefully within a year though. Is there a substantial difference in power potential when i put the paxton on it?
If you don't have a lot of extinguishing agent/water, you should never open the hood. Simply aim the extinguisher in the front valence or either one of the side vents of the hood and apply. You would be surprised what you can put out with a small extinguisher. Displacing O2 in a fire with...
I've been wanting to mount a fire extinguisher in my car for sometime. Anyone reccomended a specific one and where I should mount it. I would like to conceal it as much as possible but still be of sufficient size in case if a motor fire
