    Won't stay running...

I think it's used to program the remotes but I also thought it reset the alarm when it was preventing the engine from running. I remember one year at Mopar Nats a few guys working on a Gen I car for hours trying to get it to run. They all assumed it was wiring or security system related. It...

    Won't stay running...

I seem to remember a "green" wire under the drivers foot carpet area that needs to be grounded to reset the alarm system?

    No dash or tail lights

Your point is still valid. It could be the headlight switch and with several unrelated lights not working that flow through that it's probable, but they all feed out of the BCM and it could be a loose plug or corroded plug.

    No dash or tail lights

What model/year Viper? It's a flat rectangular box under the dash that all the wires lead to with multiple connectors on it. Follow all the wire harnesses under the dash to find it.

If all fuses are good, check the BCM( Body Control Module) connections by plugging them in and out a couple times. Chrysler is notorious for bad electrical connections. Also remove all fuses and relays and plug them in and out a couple times to make sure they are making good connections. It's...

    Viper Trivia

There are conflicting reports, some say that it was a 5 speed manual others 6 speed. As an aside I have a 1997 Dodge Ram 1500 with a late model (April 94) Gen I Viper engine bolted to a Diesel automatic. It bolts directly to the motor and the only fabrication was to modify the inspection cover...

    Looking for '96/'97 emblems

Those are regular automotive vinyl decals with a clear epoxy or polyurethane over them. The process is called "doming" and I use to do it. It's a little labor intensive and the chemicals can be caustic. I have had some severe allergic reactions from the stuff...

I think you are correct, to a point, but Jeff usually wants more meat. So I would expand your answer to be: 1st Viper SRT10, then Neon SRT4 and 3rd Ram SRT10 and eventually making their way to high performance Chrysler and Jeep models. PVO also had some input into the Nascar program at the time.
