I've received 3 PM's regarding the pin kit. GR8 ASP at 11:38 am, Chad at 12:43 pm and obaa996 at 12:58 pm. GR8 ASP is the winner! Ron, PM me your address and I'll mail it to you after I find it (hopefully i can still find it). The price.....make a donation for any amount you feel is appropriate...
Those Roe silicone hoses are great! Makes bleeding air a breeze. I wish Sean would come out with silicone heater hoses with a bleeder valve. Good luck.
Kelly,
Let me know if you still need the Roe pin kit. I bought one to to be installed along with the Roe S/C a few years back. Never installed the S/C so I sold it. Still have the pin kit new in the box. All I have to do is find it somewhere in the garage.
Go the the party supply store and buy a tank of helium. Fill up your tires with helium and reduce your unsprung weight. :D :D :D
Be careful though.....too much helium and your car might float away. :D :D :D
Yes, it's ok to mix. But it starts to minimize the advantages. Nitrogen is already in the air. Approx. 75% of the air you breathe is nitrogen. If you get new tires and they use pure nitrogen to pressurized it, there's already ambient air in the tire carcass before they even add pressure. The...
I use air out of my compressor. For the last couple years my local Costco has been filling up new tires with nitrogen. The argument there is because it's a dry, inert gas, it's more stable and less susceptable to pressure fluctuations due to temperature changes. Also, oxygen molecules are...
Yep. Bought mine sight unseen. I was in the market for a B&W so I kept an eye on the internet. Saw the ad in the VCA classifieds one night. The next morning I called the seller around 10:00 am and asked him some questions about the car. He was the original owner and was only about 70 miles...
Pittsburgh,
Don't wanna get into the "which wheels look better" debate. It's like exhaust sounds, all subjective. Like you, I prefer the looks of the BBS LM's on my 97. The ACR 's look good too. Which ever one you end up with will look great on your car.
Here are some examples of both wheels...
Cool purchase story. Sounds like you had a great first drive. Very clean 97 you have there. Congrats!!!
I notice you still have MXX3's up front. Be careful as they might be a little on the hard side.
Those are my seats there. Not sure if anyone has installed them in a Gen I but like others have said, they are quite a bit taller then the Gen II seats and come pretty close to the level of the sport bar on the RT10
Here are a couple of pics to show the height differences between the Gen I and...
This thread has almost as many views as the vipair thread. 20353 here and 20854 for the vipair thread as of this posting. :D
Kenny, how's the radio working?
Glad it worked out for you. Luckily my red top installed without any modifications. 3 years now and still works great. I keep it on a battery tender when not used over an extended period of time.
