The Viper should have CCB. The fact that this is even a topic for discussion is evidence that the Viper purists/loyalists are no longer SRT's target market.
Of course it does. How much is the real question. If there are two identical Vipers, one with a cut up console and one without, the one without will get sold first. The buyer will wonder what else is cut up on the cupholder Viper as opposed to the untouched Viper.
These torx screws are impossible to find unless you wanna pay outrageous Dealer prices. Whoever makes them needs to start marketing them on the internet. I really, really like the hex-torx-captive washer bolt.
Cliff notes:
Chuck changes insurance companies with no lapse in coverage.
Florida only sees that Chuck dropped an insurance policy.
Florida issues non-judgement suspended license but never notifies Chuck yet still issues new tags.
Chuck drives through Nazi Georgia late Sunday afternoon, no...
Viper had the fastest lap time of the class.
I'd like to thank SRT for doing such a great job providing VIP treatment those Viper and SRT owners in attendence. I greatly, GREATLY appreciated it!!! Thank you and thanks to the N. & Central FL club officers for working on it.
In all my years tracking road courses I think I've only seen one Supra actually run a circuit. I don't know why it is but Supra owners never seem to have much interest in road racing.
I don't know how old you are but in the early 70s when Jap cars started hitting the market everyone referred to them as "rice" long before it morphed into the meaning it has today.
Not criticizing. Just conveying a bit of history. We do that when we get older.
That is slick. There is no way getting to that bushing would be easier than this. Thanks for the tip. Admins put this in the illustrated how-to section!
So true. So very, very true. They already manipulate people into purchasing a POS they'd never even consider if only the manufacturers had the freedom to build cars from their creative minds as opposed to the restrictive government regulations.
Depends on the climate you are in. Anything under 67° starts getting a bit chilly for any extended top-off drives. In Tampa I run the top-off for probably a total 11 months but I do need a ballcap and jacket sometimes. Where are you?
I am not a fan of the speedbleeders. Numerous reasons.
I've been pulling the fluid out for many years and it as never failed me. The vacuum comes in handy for other stuff too, like the power steering, differential, clutch or any other case where you wanna get that last drop out.
And why is...
Take an exacto knife and carefully cut slits near the raised letters or remove the film from the letters completely. It isn't difficult or dangerous. Afterwards apply a heat gun to it and press the film down. Do the same with any other little air pockets.
That film is good stuff and will save...
Reminds me of the joke about the blonde that took her sputtering car to the mechanic. After 30 minutes he handed her the keys telling her it was ready to go.
She said, "What was wrong with it?
"Just sh*t in the fuel line." he replied.
To which she exclaimed, "How often do I gotta do that?!"
I've driven numerous GenIV including the ACR. It is a great car no doubt. But it wasn't great enough to pull me from the originals. That loud, shaky, unforgiving GenI/II assiduously demanding an alert driver is what the Viper is...was :( all about. I will always be grateful to Lutz and Dodge for...
